-a boy walked through the halls of Galian high school a hat on his head and coverd from head to toe in black only his face could be seen well his eyes any way his mouth and nose coverd by a scarf nothign could be seen of this boy a note saying it wa sa religion he needed it well rathe r adeisese from his point of veiw and all through his life he been in the shadows of a girl who he had a crush on well a friend crush then a love crush but not once did any of there class mates not even her speak to him he hid all his life and kept doing it her current boy friend was captin of of the foot ball team and nothing came from it she was afraid but rrefused to show it sh eneeded some one but why him he let it go as he walked through the halls his bright blue eyes searching around for anyone he didnt see a soul and ran in to the commons an dchilled there letting his body relax and held his book bag close he looked around more and took out his art an dlooked at them to be human an dlove some one and cry over things would be a joy but he had no reason not any more-

Gyna closed her eyes as she stretched and sighed. She was sitting in the bleachers on the deserted in-door pool, having finished swimming practice, still in her swimsuit, a towel draped around her waist. She laid her body on the bleacher, thinking on her relationship with the captain of the football team, Scott. He was a really nice guy, but there was nothing there. No fireworks, no magic. She sighed again and went into the showers and changed. Grabbing her bag she made her way into the hallway, crowded with students that were going home. She made her way past a boy, dressed all in black and stopped. She bent to pick up an art pencil right in front of him and asked "Is this yours?" with a smile on her face.

-he nods and blushes slightly from under the scarf an dgrabed it gently-"Thank you "-he said and shyed back afew steps-"You must be Gyna"-he says-"I here th eCapt of th efoot ball team talk about you a lot"

She mentally winced at that. 'I'm gonna have to have a talk with Scott' she thought to herself as she smiled at the boy "Yeah, he's a really nice guy. Well I'm sorry but I've got to go. I'm late for work." she said as she straightened. She was just about to run off when she smiled at him again and said "Nice piece of art". Before he could reply she was off, moving quickly towards the doors and out into the open, making her way through the parking lot to her car.

-He blushed and put everythign away and walked out in to the lot as Scoot drove up on her side-"Hey wanna drive back to your place and we can go out for a lil date"-he said looking up at her Th eboy watche dform a far in the shadowsseeing his eye sthere devious somethign every one misses from a look he watched as Scott made his move he knew a lot about people what he was and what he did ment everything to him but squat to no one but to help he would do it -"well "-Scott said-"Wanna go out for some fun"

Gyna sighed and shook her head at Scott "I can't Scott I have to get to work, Im already late. But I have to talk to you later ok?" she said as she moved around his car and headed for her own, still a couple of cars away.

-Gyna a bit annoyed walked to her car when she got in and turne don the car she drove off towards her house The boy leaping on to the school roof and leaps form roof to roof unnoticed she approches a patch of rail road tracks coming up just as she starts crossing it the rail gates close on her locking the car on the tracks th eboy watched from the roof above form a house about 30 feet away hidden a train was rushign for her full speed she tries to unbuckle her belt she does but when she gets out the train is 10 feet from her car about to hit her as fast as she was getting out she found her self stareing at death in the face then the next second she hears a big crash as she turns scared out of her mind to see he rnew car totalled by the train but how did she get off the tracks she was scared and she couldnt move what the hell just happend but sh enoticed when the train passed her the boy from school leaned to the Rail gate as it rose his back to her when it ros ehe leaned to the rail gate with his head down like he was chilling-

Gyna walked numbly to the boy and leaned against a tree closeby for suppor. Her knees felt weak. "H-h-how did you...? And who are you?" she asked in a soft voice, still shaken from the near death experience. She remembered him as the guy she had talked to in the hallway a few minutes back but she hadn't asked his name or seen his face.She was definately not gonna go to work tonight, she thought to herself as she sat by the tree and tried to calm her wildly beating heart.

-The boy walked to her-"im Rox we been in class since kindergarden and this is th efirst time you talked to me ever since the hall way afewminutes i always been by you rside in anythign but never noiteced i was able to do what i did because im not exactly human well i am but not fully"-he took off the scarf removing it from his mouth to his neck and his face reviled she seen him more then once through elementry he was the one kid who was picked on never talked to never a friend hin his life always wearing something on his head-"i needed to make sure you were gonan be ok so i was gonan follow you you live afew houses down from me i needed ot make sur eyou were gonan be safe"-he said as he walked ove rlayign a hand on her shoulder a soft coolign and calming feeling roamed through her-

Gyna sighed and relaxed against his hand. As his words settled in she remembered seeing him before and felt guilty at not having approached him before. She looked into his eyes with her honey colored ones, question in them "Why?" was all she could ask, barely a whisper. Why had he put himself in danger for her? Why had he always been by her side? And what exactly did he mean that he wasn't compleately human?

-Rox looks to her-"to answer your short question i felt i had to i always wanted to be your friend and be by your side but nothing i did was enough i must go "-he puts up his scarf and looks ot her eyes-"See you in school "-he said and he puts up his hands in prayer and faded away to nothing he appears in his room in his abandone house down form hre lookign normal in side wa sempty with people just furnature and him he paye dth ebills how and with what he lays on his bed just relaxing what day was left in the early afternoon-

Gyna just kept looking where he had been standing for a few more minutes before getting up and slowly making her way home. She locked the door behind her and called both work and the insurance company. They'd have a new car for her delivered in the morning. 'God, things were easier when Mom was around' she said a little sadly as she went to the kitchen and fixed herself a quick dinner. After washing the dishes, she took a long shower and sat on her bed, the sheets covering her naked body. She looked out the window at the night sky for a moment, wondering what Rox was doing. She had really been a bitch all these years, though she hadnt really ment to. 'He is kinda cute' she thought blushing before grabbing a book from her bedside and starting to read.

-Rox went out to the park by him well by there house and went deep in the middle of it where no one could see him he took off his bandana reveliing cat ears and his scarf lowering reveling cat fangs and his tail slips out his eyes turn bright gold-"Now time to do some more spells"-he holds out his hands and focusses as he was trying a new spell to use never herd of it as he starts charging it back fires and a light show is set off lout bangs an d akaboom was her dmost everyone ignored it thinkign fireworks a monster appars from his light show which forms to a streaming dragon and Rox backs up as he begins to try and run from it a stead stream of fire and magic raised up in the air and races down as it Runs through him burnign him and mingling his body to snap on ankle and a wrist as he hits the groudn his scarf onhis neck his bandana on his hea dnow an dhis tail hidden smooke an dburnt grass lay around him his clothes with a dowesed fire now gone but you can see the slight burns as he lays there now shivering from fright of his mistake-

Gyna dropped her book as she heard the explotion "What the hell was that!?" she asked herself as she pulled on a pair of sweats and a tank top. She put her shoes on and grabbed a flashlight, moving into the trees towards where the sound had come from. She gasped and ran to a figure that laid in the grass. She gently turned the face upwards to find that it was Rox. She bit her lip, looking at his wounds, not really caring about the ears or the tail, though she now understood what he meant by 'not compleately human'. She tried not to touch his wounds as she slowly carried him inside her house and into her bed. She quickly cleaned his wounds and bandaged them before covering him with the sheets to keep him warm. She placed a chair right beside the bed and waited for him to wake.

-his tail and ears had sliped back out after coverign them selves up again but it wastn any use he slowly started to stirr gently and mews very lightly as he winces his eyes slowly open and jumps up with a start very frightened where he was-"What where am i huh whats goign on"-he looks to he ran dblushed and looked down as he realized his tail ad been by his side and he coverd his ears as his tail slipped to his spine-"Um hey uhh ...."-looking down he took his hands away and tears slipped down his cheeks gently-

Gyna got up and gave him a cup of hot chocolate she had made "Hey whats wrong? why are you crying?" she asked as she looked at him worriedly, tryng to see if she missed a wound or something.

-he shook his head and loked up to her he whiped his tears-"i didnt want you to see me like this like the freak i am and always was i just wanted to be normal"-he said softly asd he took the cum in his gloved hands tthey were cloth gloves thin ones -"i didnt want you to veiw me as a cat freak never did i"

Gyna smiled softly as she wiped a stray tear from his cheek "What freak? I don't see any freaks here. Just a really cute and nice guy who saved my life today" she said blushing a little at what had just come out of her mouth. "You don't have to hide your apperance from me. Now what happened? Why are you so badly burned?" she asked as she sat next to him on the other side of the bed.

-he looked ot her and blushed as hsi tail came out and he smiled showing his fangs a bit and his ears perk up at her smile-"Well see i also practice magic its somethign i love to do but the spell i was practicing back fired and i got torn by it -he moved his wrist slgihtyl and he winced- ouch i snaped another bone"-h emoved his ankle a bit to an dsame response-"Thats two bones i'll take care of that"-he taps the parts with his tail as you can hear th ebones mend with afew cracks-"There"

Gyna winced everytime a bone cracked "You are one interesting fellow" she said smiling as she looked at his ears. Her hand extended to touch them but she stopped herself "Do you mind?" she asked softly as she lowered her gaze to look at his face.

-Rox could feel her hand creep to his ears i twas bound ot happen-"not at all"-he leaned his head back abit an dclosed his eyes-

Gyna gently rubs one ear then takes her hand away, leaning against the pillows "This has been one hell of a day... do you mind me asking how..." she sighed and shook her head "Never mind. You should rest" she said softly as she got up and brought another blanket for him and one for herself "If you need anything just call. And Rox?" she bit her lip and kissed his cheek "thank you for saving me" she sqaid softly before moving to the living room, falling on the sofa and closing her eyes.

-His head went to a blur and he walked to her side and kissed her cheek and looks to her sleeping form-"Night and welcome"-he walks out magicly locking the door as he walks back home an dgot dressed in fresh clothes not hiding his freak appearance anymore he falls asleep on his bed now dreamign diffrent for once in years-
