I've always heard it defined as glamorous nudes or semi-nudes of women in which the subject is looking directly at the camera/viewer. Tasteful and non-explicit in nature.

Am I the only one who has been disappointed by the lack of actual cheesecake? Made worse by the standing joke in my family when, many years, ago we were all asked if we had saved room for cheesecake. (and of course there was no actual cheesecake)
