Okay, that was a bad joke, twisting the opening line to an awards citation. *shrugs* I only admit to having a sense of humor; I have never espoused its quality. 
So.....
Well, I am new to the Lit forums, but I have loved reading Lit for years. I just thought I would post a brief hello and slowly build my experience with reading and posting within these pages. I am an average looking, average height and average weight divorced retired military man enjoying the college teaching life in Hawaii. Living on a boat only makes this that much better. What else should I say? I have seen small thesis written here, but I would like to leave some open for exploration.
As to what I want from Lit, I am learning. I don't want to rush into anything. I do not want to exchange photos or phone numbers after one or two IMs. Can we get to know each other first?!
So, feel free to say hi, all you lovely ladies of Lit (who actually read this).
