I'm looking out my window in New Jersey and all I can see is white. My low-ball estimate is half a foot, and it's still coming down hard.
I know you Southern people (Georgians in particular) love the stuff, so I'd like to offer you the once in a lifetime opportunity to come to the Garden State and take with you all the snow you can carry.

Not snowing yet in my little corner of NY state...but they are saying we are to get up to a foot by midnight. Would love to share my snow with the people in the southern states. Oh and good morning Nitelight!

Ksss

Good morning. It looks like today is the perfect day to stay inside and schmooze with your internet pals.

Oh God! People who can't drive in snow combined with Jersey drivers. What a nightmare! :):):) (joking of course)

It sure does Nitelight, now we need to find Ambrosious and the day will be almost complete.

You can have all you can carry from Wisconsin, too. This is starting to be ridiculous. You'd think I live in Upper Michigan from looking outside! The snow on the roof over my deck is now about 3 feet even across and I'm going to have to start thinking about getting it off due to the weight. I think we must have gotten another 6 inches or so since yesterday and it is still snowing. Very pretty, but enough is enough.

Hi Nitelight, thanks but I would rather not have snow here in Texas... I will just watch y'all shovel the white stuff.

Morning Nitelight.......no snow for me Thanks. It sure is pretty to see on TV though LOL :p I don't mind the snow, it is just the crazy idiots that cannot drive in/with it on the ground, they don't understand the whole deal about slowing down just a touch and not riding my rear bumper.

I should point out that this thread was not directed at any one specific Georgian.

Darn and I thought it was meant for me ;)

You know how I love the snow, I would be there in a heartbeat if I could to play in it. I bet it is beautiful wish I were there to see it.

You should go have fun in it, make a snowman or snowangels, just have fun.

Woohoo!!!!
I just finished shovelling the driveway, the sidewalk, the front walk, and the front steps.
Fun, fun, fun!!!!!

And guess what? It's still snowing. As I look out the window, I can see everything I did getting covered over again.

Snowman? Bah, humbug!!!

Sorry sugar, I guess there is a bad side to the snow, we just do not have to deal with it in the south when we get snow.

Juliangel

I love looking at it. I just don't like removing it.
:D

Right now all I want is a mug of hot chocolate, a blazing fireplace, a warm blanket, and a warm Texan.
;)

Hey friend, I hope you are not in that part of Jersey that has gotten 15" so far with more on the way. We are down to light snow now and had about 8-10".

The grass is always greener....

Or whiter (as the case may be). It wasn't even warm enough to light a fire in the fireplace here on Christmas day. I did it anyways (with the air conditioning running full blast). You think I'm kidding? Then you ought to see my utility bills.
