Im trying to look for this story that some other Author wrote. I cant remember the author nor the story right now off hand. If i saw the title of the story, it would hit me, and i would recognize it right away.
Also, i was wondering if authors can take out their stories once they have submitted it to the site? If so, is there a way to see all the stories that have been taken out? Like just a list of stories?
Have any of you, taken out stories? If so, which ones?

I was pretty sure that it would have fallen under SiFi... basically it was about this girl, that got sucked (if u wanna call it) into this portal where she ended up on this complete different universe. To her, it basically looked like the medevil time era... in reality,(she didnt know this just yet) that she was this enchantress or witch .. watever you want to call it that has powers and will save this kingdom finally from all the hard/dark times they were having. She just wants to get home, but soon she starts to except that these people are right about her powers, and she develops into them more and more, as she practices it with Lysander (he is an elder like, that has powers too, im pretty sure thats how his name is spelld) .. well anyways, soon there are parts of the story where you see the girl and the captian of the guards slowly start to like each other.. n u can tell that something might b happening between them.


this story can go on more and more.. but i have a feeling many will get tired of reading already..llol... i mean,... there arent many stories that are long on this site.. i remember this story had many many chapters...

I think i did, but im not so sure. I mean, im still new to all of this, and i know i did some kind of search lol.. I remember typing in some 'keywords' ... is that what you are talking about?

Well then yes i did try that search. Im getting so frustrated, because i really want to read that story. Plus, i have told a lil bit of this story to others, and many of them want to read it too, but now im stuck. I cant find it now. Does it ring any bell to the story? Do you kind of remember maybe what the title was or who the author was?

There was a story series called "With This Spell" by Madame Butterfly that has a character named Lysander and comes up on Google's cache, but is no longer on Lit. It had at least 14 chapters. Unfortunately, Madame Butterfly's profile has been removed from Lit.

Hopefully, this isn't what you're looking for. If it is, you may be out of luck.

I'm sorry guys, but I completely disagree with what you are doing.

The author has removed themselves and their work from Lit, for whatever reason, and I believe that we should respect the wishes of the author.

OK, so you saved a copy, that's fine, for personal reading, I'm sure the author knew that one or two people might have done just that....but to pass it on to other people, WITHOUT permission of the author, is just plain wrong.

If the author pulled them for publication, the publishers usually require sole copyright...the way some of us Literites have pulled our stories for publication somewhere other than Lit. You could be getting the author in big trouble.

I would be very annoyed if I found anyone passing around any stories of mine that had been pulled for publication. I would hope that people had more sense, and thought about the consequences of their actions a little more.

im not going to give it out to any one... i just want the story for myself... so that i can keep it under my favorite... this is my favorite story of all time on this site.. and when i finally went and well signed up on this site, i wanted to put that under my favorites... but well u get what happend.. i couldnt find it, and i just want it for myself so that i can read it.

I understand what you're saying, but I've got to agree with Mats on this one. Just because you like the story, doesn't make it yours to do with as you please and doesn't give the right to go against the author's wishes. For whatever reason, Madame Butterfly chose to pull her work. It's disrespectful to ignore that.
