F.Y.I. To those that have followed my stories. Chapter 15 has been rejected 6 times without significant reason. Also a volunteer editor cannot be found, to help with story publication. Have tried 7 different ones with no response. I have other chapters written and apparently no place/opportunity to publish. If you would be seriously interested in further chapters, contact me through e-mail and I will be happy to keep you up to date. I guess it just won't happen on this web site.

Here's the mantra. What exactly was the reason given for the rejection? Same thing all six times? If so, you may just not have "gotten" what the problem is. What was insignificant to you either is significant to the Web site editor or you two have a disconnect going--a disconnect that you're not giving us a clue to. If you want help, post the wording of the reason for rejection, after which you may be asked to post a bit of the text that might help someone here help you with the rejection.

If you just want to rant, you haven't given us enough evidence that your rant is justified for anyone to particularly agree with you yet.

Judging by the posts already, I would have to say he posted in the General Board first. So he obviously hasn't a clue what is going on.

After looking at his current published "Chapters" I would venture to say that the submission was probably too short.

Add some more words, then resubmit.

750 word minimum story length, to clarify.

He's complained several times about 'insignificant' reason for rejection but won't answer what it was. Probably doesn't want to make changes, just bitch about it. Six rejections? I have to assume he's not stupid, therefore he must be stubborn as a mule. Being from a Tennessee rooted family, I know this. He suggested he'll have to quit this site. If he can't have his way, let him take his story and go elsewhere.

I didn't know he tried venting on GB. No wonder that caustic crowd came here to mock him. Those sharks smell newbie blood.

You might want to try knocking a little louder...

...'cause, obviously, nobody's home in that empty brain of yours.

I'm sorry you're so confused. You must think I'm somebody who is bothered by your childish insults. Unlike you, I have a life and interests outside Literotica.com. I also don't care to explain things in third grade English for you.

Hopefully, the water will calm down soon, and we can get back to our usual actions; without the interruption from some of the GB crowd.

That's the problem--there is no reason for the rejection. I click on "rejected" and the page that comes up is did not explain reason for rejection. Per her request I notified Lar and sent a web page snap shot. Will keep trying to get an editor. Word count is sufficient. DO NOT NEED SHITTY COMMENTS from those with their brains up their ass. Thanks to all those with helpful critisisum

We haven't really established who has their brain up their ass, tnwriter, because so far you haven't explained your problem within the context of how the system works here. There's no assumption that it is working differently for just you.

Your attitude doesn't exactly convince anyone that the problem isn't you.

And it is your problem, you know. I'm happy to leave it as your problem.

The page that comes up when click "rejected" usually puts the reason in the form of a question, like "Is your punctuation correct?" or "Are there underage characters involved in sexual situations?" Those aren't the exact phrasings, but that's the gist of it.

If you can tell us here what the rejection said, we can help you. Also, if you do that, someone might be willing to take a look at it privately.

The volunteer editors do not "help" with publishing. They're just people who offer to help with editing but having one or not doesn't affect your getting published on the site.

How are you searching for an editor? Did you post in the Editor's Forum asking for help? Or did you contact someone who posted on the monthly thread of available editors? Or are you looking at the list of editors Lit has?

Also, it's Laurel, not Lar. And how did you notify her? If you sent an e-mail, that won't go through. You'll need to contact her with a PM.

Aside from the GB trolls you've attracted who might as well use brown fonts, no one has been as shitty as you. My comment #11 was directed at comment #10, not you. The worst I did was call you stubborn because I know stubborn; it runs high in my family.

You have complained in two threads on this forum and apparently once on the General Board yet never mentioned even the 'insignificant' reason for rejection people have asked for several times. If you were rejected six times (probably without addressing the real issue), I bet Laurel is ready to give up on you. If you asked her and editors for help with the same attitude as you have posted on this thread, you won't likely get any. I've encountered sr71plt's boorish treatment once and think he's an opinionated sob, but his information is almost always dead-on and valuable. It's not likely you are being treated different in the approval process than any of us have been. Plus, I agree with his position to ignore your problem further. You probably don't need our help now anyway. PennLady, who has the patience and countenance of Mother Teresa, has explained the matter as none of us has thought to do.

Checked it earlier and the rejection showed I have a problem with quotes and comma's. Thanks all for the input.

So, he has a problem with comprehension and it's our fault. He finally reads the problem and doesn't understand what's wrong and it's our fault. His attitude it beyond belief and it's our fault.

Yep, it's our fault.

Tnwriter sent me a sample of his work and I edited it and sent back. Guess we'll see what happens from here.
