Titans: The Revised Adventures RP

Roy.

"Uh, is..." he hesitated when several sets of eyes turned to him, "Uh, hi." He pointed at Arsenal, "He invited me." "I'm not with them," he pointed at the three villains that were wrapped in a girder he was carrying. "Is everyone okay?"

Roy looked up to see Damage. In a roman/greco heroes outfit. "Yeah he's cool. I told him to come. Looks like he helped anyway." Roy gave him an appraising look and curled an eybrow, "I said Join the Titans not dress like one. I think you played too much D&D kid."

Roy clutched his side, Yeah that hurt, but it felt better having something on it. He Scanned looking about for anything still "So are we done? Is it over? Nothing going on. Zombie fighting Superboy the only thing left? Good? HORKBLECH."

Finally the adrenaline wore off, and Roy felt all the pain and injury at once. He wretched on Grant's Costume and shoes, bits of the pizza he had eaten and parts of pink foam flying from his lips. Strictly projectile the whole way. Superheroes don't dribble.

"OW. I think I hurt." Roy spit, most of it was blood. He began tonguing the cuts in his mouth. "And my mouth is bleeding." He looked around. "Was I the only one to get the hell beat out of him? Damn that sucks, I must be rusty or something."

The cop that had been driving the car that Di put Vic into had called an ambulance, and he was rushed to the ER. The Titans that were injured went to the ER, while the ones that could still stand watched as Superboy continued to pound Grundy, insisting that he wanted to bring the zombie down on his own.

Ambulances and squad cars were arriving and some attendant was trying to haul Roy off. Roy didn't like that thought though. Hospital right now would mean tubes and several other things. Besides he could check himself it. Ambulances were expensive these days. One good glare and most of the staff backed off. Leaving him several tensor bandages.

Slowly Roy looked over for his bike, wanting little more than to go home and sleep this off. If he was right, He had cracked two ribs, and all the hospitals would do was poke and prod him before doing nothing. They didn't treat ribs. Roy sifted through rubble a sliced couch and began looking for his bike. Upstairs, downstairs till finally he found it. One lone tire, Torn apart and several destroyed pieces. it was heart breaking. "I just had this fixed." Slowly Roy walked up the stairs, looking for anything to lie on. Simply he found a couch. The only couch still standing. It had a girl on it. A frazzled girl in a cloak... and a bunny suit? Roy shook his head cute she may be, But hurt he was. He gave her a closer glance finally catching that it was Raven, or Rachel. She had been standing with Angel last night. Roy gave a smile, he had caught a murderer today. That was cool. he took off the Arrow basket on his back and placed it next to the couch.

"Excuse me hun. I realise that we're a bit short of seating, But I'm gonna lie down. I kind of hurt. Maybe the ambulance would have been best but I should be waiting to see everyone else before this night ends. Don't want another fracas where I don't know the team I'm playing for Y'know. And Hospitals squick me out." Roy waited for her a little and collapsed along the rest of the couch with her. A large jagged tear and cut causing the couch to sink in the middle. it creaked and finally the legs snapped, making it flat. Roy gave a small groan and looked up imploringly to the cracked plaster and scorched ceiling.

"Are we finally done?"

(OOC:Yeah it's long, and refusing an ambulance makes little sense. But I would still like to react for the rest of the night if there is one. And hospital means Roy has to make statements fill paerwork and generally get NO SLEEP all night. He's already done this. He hurts, His Bike is broken, He seems to be the only one injured. He damn well does not want to do reports all night.

So feel free to ignore this OOC but I felt I should explain. And I'm tired I'll color it later. Oh and yay post 800.)

Gathering his feet under him, Superboy shot foreword, catching Grundy under the chin with an uppercut.

Seemed it was harder to keep a Zombie down the one might imagine...or was she just not giving him enough credit? She'd hauled him up seven hundred feet and dropped him and yet he was still going like the energizer bunny. Now someone else was in the fray with him and even if holding his own the undead refused to lay down and die.

Physical punishment was just not taking this guy out, as shown by the hot dog cart and pounding he was taking from the leather jacketed combatant. Donna hover a couple dozen feet above the street, looking for anything she could....wait a minute. Her pale blue eyes snagged something and caught an idea to go with it.

"Hey...tuff guy."

Donna sailed down to where Grundy and the other dark haired guy were. She tapped Grundy on the shoulder and sweetly smiled.

"Remember me?"

She knew his mind worked slowly but he would spot her in time, she looked past him to the boy of steel, and jerked her eyes up to the power lines above them.

"Why don't you and I take Night of the Living Dead here for a little ride with a shocking end?"

The plan was simple, hoist him up, drop him on the power lines and see what happened, if nothing else he'd be away from civies for a few minutes.

Ashton looked around the room. He gave a curt nod to Robin, then collapsed, exhausted. The swords fell from nerveless fingers, the blades deactivating, just like the one in the wall had done. He lost consciousness, his eyes closing as the weight of the armor settled around his form. He had put too much into that initial blast, and had been running on pure adrenaline and physical strength. That kind of work was tiring, especially against such foes. That, and his mind was shutting down from the intense concentration it took to shove Duece out of his mind.

"Why don't you and I take Night of the Living Dead here for a little ride with a shocking end?"

Conner grinned wide, "Babe I like where your head's at"

Swooping in low, Conner brought a right hand crashing into the side of Grundy's face. The monster didn't seem the least big hurt by the blow, but the sheer force was enough to stumble him for a moment.

Taking that moment, Superboy hooked his arm around Grundy's, cocking his head for Donna to do the same as he began to lift up off the ground.

Donna rolled her eyes with 'babe' but swooped in to secure Grundy's other arm and hoist away. Between the two of the Grundy was light as a feather and easy enough to bring up the thirty or forty feet needed to give him a nice send off.

"One, two, three!"

With a bit of a swing Donna released her grip on the reanimated dead and watched him and his bewildered expression fall to the power lines. Half turn to speak to the other flying youth.

"Thanks for the back up. I'm...uhh...well...Wonder Girl."

Sheepish smile as the torn and near shredded Goddess toga was not her usual costume prefrence but she hadn't exactly planned on a full scale assualt this evening.

Superboy couldn't help but give Wonder Girl a quick once over with his eyes. The girl was drop, dead gorgeous. Calling her an Amazon just didn't do it justice. In the presence of this stunning example of female beauty, even Conner was at a bit of a loss for words. Recovering quickly he gave her a wide, friendly smile.

Hooking his thumb at the S-shield on his chest and the similar S, spit curled in his dark hair he chuckled, "Well Wonder Girl, I'll give you 3 guess who I am...and you're not gonna need two of them"

A bright and violent surge of electricity exploded beneath them as Grundy struck the powerlines, turning the body into a bright, glowing neon as the electric currents were diverted entierly into his body.

Shielding his eyes for a moment, Superboy turned back to Wonder Girl, "It's pretty cool huh? And with the hot dogs everywhere, it's like dinner and a show"

"Yeah, so you're a prodigy too. I got the chance to meet Superman once or twice while working with Wonder Woman. He's something. So do you go by..Kid Super or Super boy?"

Awkward as first meetings can be this was even more so, Donna hovered in silence before she put her hand out to him for a handshake.

Solomon Grundy

Two of them. It was almost unfair. The superkid hit really, really hard, and now there was the the pretty girl back.

Solomon Growled at Donna angrily unable even to get out his usual catch phrase. He reared back to take a swing and his fist was caught in two gloved hands. "Solomon?"

A confused word passed his undead lips. Grave stink fouling from his breath. he shook And put his other massive fist behind to backhand the insolent twerp. When it too was caught by Donna in her tattered robes. "Grundy?"

Even in his tiny dead zombie mind he could tell this would end poorly He thrashed buit it was a short trip and a shorter throw. sa he sparked and the 'lights' went out in his head he could watch the two get aqauinted duing his short fall. Slowly he tried to get himself up, and failed. His undead body jsut not listening to the screaming voice saying Crush smash kill destroy.

Instead only softly did the final words of his litany pass before he shut down till his next rampage. "Born on a monday."

Superboy shook Donna hand with a nod. "Superboy is the professional name, but you can call me Conner"

Turning his attention back to Grundy, Superboy cocked an eyebrow. "Ya think we should...you know...arrest him or somethin?"

Robin smiled as Grundy was finally defeated, then turned slightly to look back at Star as she held him. They turned to everyone in the room who had not gone to the hospital. “You all need some rest. I only got hit once by Malchior, so I’ll keep watch and clean up. I’ll sleep in the morning.” And off he went, cleaning and sweeping.

"Yes, someone should do something. I really shouldn't....umm.. I should get going I guess. It looks like you have everything under control here."

She gave a half smile, and looked around them, already the clean up had begun and she'd avoided notice by all but this Superboy as far as she knew. So it was a good time to head out, she nodded and turned. Her body arched upward in a graceful motion to carry her up above the cloud line. The full moon would make moving around unnoticed a problem if she stayed too close to the ground, and yet she had no desire to go home just yet.

Of course Donna knew there were others like herself, one didn't side kick to Wonder Woman and somehow think you were alone in the world. But meeting others, knowing in the very town she lived there might be someone like herself....well it was a bit mind blowing. Donna continued her upward soar until she found a suitably high cell tower, she lightly perched on the girdered signal dish support.

Here she was, miles and miles from Paradise Island and her mentor and somehow she'd managed to fall right back in with other powered people...and a mini-Superman at that. And all on Halloween nigh-- Grant! Oh he was going to hate her. The first chance they got to do something together and she ran off without hardly even saying anything. Donna leaned to the side, resting her temple on the cold steel beam beside her, Diana never covered this part of super life.

Superboy watched as Wonder Girl arched upwards and sailed off into the night. Hovering in mid air for a moment, he followed her with his eyes until she vanished past the cloud cover.

Glancing down to the prone form of Solomon Grundy and then back to the speck on the horizion that was Donna Troy, Superboy made a decision. Turning to follow, he sailed through the air after her.

If the girl flies away, it means she wants you to follow, right? he asked himself as he followed a short distance behind her. His telescopic vision wasn't nearly as developed as his older counterpart's but it was more then enough to keep track of the retreating Wonder Girl.

Noticing her pause and rest on a high cell tower. She looked like she was thinking. Conner always found a quiet, high place when he needed to think.

"Hey...you alright" He called out to her in a calm tone. Hovering vertically behind her, he floated in towards Donna.

Having cleaned the most of the main room, Raven started work on the hall she had fought with the Dragon guy, trying to fix over the hole he had created. Her room was still a bit of a mess as well, being her next task as the final piece of flooring covered what used to be the gap in the floor.
"I bet you appreciated that," She muttered as she guided the dagger back to its stand with her powers. She still refused to touch the thing- not when she knew where it came from. "Blood on your blade- Don't expect any more." Settling down on the bed, she gave a soft sigh. She had gotten so furious with that guy, she let out the side she fought so hard to keep in check... Two things she hadn't wanted to do; use that dagger, and bring out her demon.

----------

"Be safe, friends...," Star called out to Superboy as he bolted off, then headed inside as well. Raven had done a great ammount of work on the main room- but when Star went to talk to her, she just... left. Something must have been bothering her...
The needle vehicle still held itself on the side of the tower, causing a frown from Star. Flying back out, she grabbed hold of the back of it, grunting loudly as she tugged it free of the structure, then hurled it into the water. She floated there a moment, watching the waves settle down, then went back inside.

"Oh!"

Hearing another voice was about the last thing she'd expected, Donna lifted those china blue eyes to fix on the hovering lad in front of her. He did look like Superman, the resemblance was so close, except for the more cocky less genuine nature that seemed to radiate from the Kryptonian man himself.

"Yes, I'm fine thank you. I didn't mean to pull you away, I thought you and the others would be busy with wrapping that all up. I just......... needed some air."

Lamest of the lame excuses, she could fly, she was super strong and she needed air...yeah..nicely done. It was a good thing Donna never claimed to be socially apt as that would make her a liar. It was just all so different in costume, when she pulled on the red and gold she was Wonder Girl, right now she was just Donna Troy and even with all her powers, she felt vulnerable. And now with the Super sidekick hovering only a few feet away she felt more exposed then ever.

"I never even asked, you're ok aren't you? I mean I assumed because...well...you know. But you are ok right Superboy?"

Superboy touched down softly on the cell tower, taking a step towards Donna. Shrugging his shoulders, slipping his hands into his jeans pockets.

"Ahh it's just Kryptonite and a giant invincible zombie....but 'least it wasn't raining" He chuckled and leaned back against one of the cold steel support frames. The truth was, he could still feel the deadly radiation of the Kryptonite, not to mention Grundy's pummeling, undead strength. He'd taken worse beatings before, and he had a feeling that he'd take worse later too. There was no reason to show that it hurt.

Most people forgot that while Conner had the look, the shield and most of the powers, he wasn't Superman. Superman was Superman. It was suprising for someone to ask if he was alright.

Stepping up beside her and staring out onto the lights of Vector City at night, the hundreds of lights looking like a small galaxy.

"It's pretty cool huh? Most people never get this sort of view" Conner folded his arms across his chest, leaning casually against the beam.

Most people weren't in his same situation. Donna was a near perfect clone of Diana, but she was not Wonder Woman. She still had a lot of growing and learning to go. For Donna the question was as natural as they come, that was just the sort of person she was, she cared. She didn't have to know someone to care if they were hurt or alright, it was simply something in her nature, something not there in Diana. For being her living reflection there were still a lot of differences between the girl and the woman.

"Don't tempt the Gods."

She half chuckled with his jest on the weather, she knew full well just how much Gods loved to toy with the mortal realm, comments like that could just provoke them. She turned to look at him, scanning for injuries but not seeing anything aside from a look of deep weariness in his eyes. A feathered brush of the back of her hand swept some remaining debris and dust from his cheek and hair, he'd survive the fight, but something else was wearing on him.

"You look tired, effect of the Kryptonite?"

The view, as impressive as it was remained unseen a moment longer, but she did turn to look over the city, her new home and see it for the wonder it was.

"Funny isn't it? The further away from something you are the more peaceful and beautiful it looks."

Conner swallowed a bit as he felt the faintest touch of her hand brush past his hair, past his cheek. He couldn't help but feel a tiny surge of heat in his body from the contact. Wonder Girl was amazing looking, strong, and smart, and being up alone with her, watching the city below them was enough to make any red-blooded man a bit warm.

"Nah, the Kryptonite fades pretty fast...it's just...I wonder where they'd even get that stuff" He scratched the back on his neck, staring out on the skyline. "I mean Kryptonite don't exactly grow on trees"

A moment passed as the stood and watched the city before Conner turned back to Wonder Girl and offered her a simple, genuine smile, "Oh I dunno. I don't you think to be far away from something to see that it's beautiful"

"Yeah, that's something to look into. I..."

Donna went quiet a moment, what exactly could she offer to do? She wasa student here, it wasn't like she had the resources to help with that sort of investigation. She shrugged and continued.

"I guess I can't really do much of anything. But it seemed too cordinated to be some random thing. If they had kryptonite then they were prepared to take you on. If the protege of Superman is in trouble who knows what could be next. Any idea why those guys were after that building?"

She was steering the subject away from his latter comment, something about the tone of his voice making her tinged the palest pinks. True he hadn't exactly said anything directly, but his manner and gaze were enough that she felt the flush of it.

"It's my Halloween costume, Harper, I didn't have time to-" Then he was hit, splattered with the torrential spouting contents of Roy's stomach, delivered with the accuracy that only the world's greatest teen marksman could achieve. "Dude!" He stared down at his costume, then raised his hands, aghast at the amount of ichor that clung to him. "I rented this costume, Harper!" "I can't take it back like this!"

But Roy was stumbling away, taken into care by the paramedics, it seemed. Which was good, he'd gotten shaken up bad. Hell, if Grant weren't superhumanly tough, that attack that had thrown him into the wall might've knocked him out. "Get healed up, Roy!" "Then we'll talk about the cleaners' bill!"

It seemed that the Titans had things under control, and other than Harper, weren't paying him much mind. So much the better...he really didn't want to meet his future teammates covered in the contents of Arsenal's stomach. Grant picked up the villains he'd tied up, and marched them over to the D.E.O personnel that had arrived. The officers took them into custody, one of them looking around. "They caused a hell of a mess...lots of injured too, though not too many actually died." The fed shook his head, Grant's reflection in his mirrored visor shifting with the motion. "Ah, well, for all of it, you guys did good, uh...Kid...Hercules?"

Grant sighed, "No, this isn't my costume, it's just for Hallo-forget it." "Thanks." Grant walked away, feeling pretty bad.

He'd gotten there too late to really do anything. Put away one bad guy, and distract another. People still died. "Damn it." He was fast, why couldn't he have been fast enough to get there before anyone died? "Why do I survive every time?" His foster parents, the hunters who were caught in his blast, the people at the party...what crimes had they committed that were worse than his?

His mood darkening, Grant walked into the cold, dark water of the bay. There was nothing he could use as a jump point, and he couldn't fly. Had to swim back. It would burn off some energy, and that was good. He didn't want to risk blowing up. It would only hurt more people who didn't deserve it.

The swim to shore didn't take long, super human strength and stamina'll do that. He walked up ashore, glad that the bay's current and his own water speed had washed the worst of the vomit away. Still smelled awful.

Overall, he had to rate his debut as a Titan as terrible. Late, not very effective, thrown up on. He was sure he'd made a great first impression. If he went back tomorrow, would they even let him join?

He shook his head, starting off down the merriment filled streets. Well, the night hadn't been all bad. Donna...and that costume, the dance, the kiss. He smiled faintly at the memory, feeling warmer inside. She'd fought there too, it had to be her. There couldn't be two girls like that in the world. Hell, in worldS. Maybe...maybe he could tellher the whole truth, about everything that had happened. He hadn't done that with anyone, not even Harper.

"Maybe." First things first though. Back to his new home, to shower. He really didn't want to smell that particular odor for any longer than he needed to.

Roy

Off the couch Roy couldn't sleep. The thing was cut in two and only one area was off. He was still trying only to use half the couch tll he noticed Raven had left. Roy wanted to walk. clean up was going on. And most of the titans had wandered away. It actually looked odd to see Robin, sweeping up. Roy tried but he couldn't get his head around it.

Roy got up assuming he should either ask Robin for a place for the night or a ride back. Maybe the ambulance was a good idea. But Roy didn't like those places. He was about to walk over to Robin when Starfire came up to talk to him. He didn't seem like he wanted to talk right after. Robiin said something no comittally about making up a bedroom for Roy tomorrow. "But I only need a place to stay tonight. Dude I have an apartment." Hey looked around for anyone he knew, maybe from the party.

Di. Hey. She had been there. He remembred her. He had been flirting a lot with her a bit ago. Roy walked up with his best smile on. "Hi. Uh Di right. You said something about being a Titan. Glad to see you're ok. So listen, I was sorta looking for a way to either spend the night or a way home. Any chance you could help with that?

Di had made her way back to the lower levels - the upper ones were really the ones which had taken most of the damage, so the lower levels were all pretty much okay if you didn't mind a few fallen pictures and decorations, a few minor cracks here and there which she'd repaired easily. She'd led out most of the guests earlier, but went to see if there were any still hiding out down there. There were a few, and she'd brought them up and out to the authorities before cleaning up what she could. She'd come back upstairs for a drink, if there were any to be had, and kind of wondering where Mina was exactly....

She heard someone holler at her, then noticed it was Roy and smiled... blushing just a bit. The bedrooms were mostly upstairs, the lower levels had more business-related things in them with a few lounging spots. Di nodded, and motioned with one finger for Roy to "come with" her as she turned to walk down the stairway. Straightening a picture here and there, she jabbered on about this and that, not really anything of matter, before passing a bathroom on the way to the biggest downstairs lounge. She popped inside, opened the medicine cabinet and handed Roy a bottle of pain killers. "Noticed you got a few bumps there, here, take something." SHe smiled again and skipped on her way, pointing to the overstuffed couch in the lounge as they arrived there. "How's this?"

Superboy's hyper keen senses didn't miss the subtle glow that was developing on Wonder Girl's cheeks. He was flirting, but the warm pink that spread across skin like white marble told him it was alright. And for Conner, the night of violence had been worth it to spend this time up here with this gorgeous girl.

His piercing blue eyes roved up and down her body briefly, noticing her lack of clothing. He had noticed it before, but this time it was from a practical angle. It was cold out and she was wearing very little.

Shrugging off the leather jacket he'd grabbed just before the fighting broke out, Superboy took a step closer to her and offered the jacket to her.

"Here you go. It's pretty cold" Smiling good-naturedly, he made certain he was much closer to the lovely Donna Troy.

Roy sank into the oversized sofa, Leaning back nd letting it engulf im. Vi had a bottle of pills, which he waved off. "Nah don't take 'em anymore. Don't take anything anymore really. Lot of the reason why I don't like Hospital's. Not a lot of choice in the matter." Roy gave her a once over despite how tired he was. She was good looking, But he hurt and was too tired. Still no reason not to give her a little show for letting him stay.

"I could use some bandages though." Roy stripped his torn costume top off. Showing off and doing his best depsite the pain to flex. He didn't really need to. Most of her attention would likely be on his massive arms but years of bow training and working with his body and bike had left him in excellent shape.

"You could help me wrap."

It was the weight of his gaze more then the chill at the altitude that gave her reason to accept the jacket. She smiled thankfully and slipped it on over the tattered remains of her costume. She was going to have to pay for this, she wouldn't let Grant pick up the tab for it. After all it was her fault, she'd rushed into battle in a rented costume. But still she would make it up to him. And the kindness of Superboy as well. Donna was thankful for the jacket, not that she was cold, but the feeling of having something over her was reassuring.

"I don't normally dress like this. It was for a Halloween party. I think it's ruined now."

She half laughed, fingers toying with the shreds of the once pristine white skirt. This night was not what she had expected at all, from start to finish it had been a complete surprise. First a wonderful partial date, then a fight like she hadn't seen in months and now this...the silence of the night after the fighting had ended...it was almost eerie. Right now donna wanted nothing so much as to be home with a hot cup of tea and her pajamas on. She was in need of comfort and as charming as the krypton kid was, she thought it best to leave.

"I really appreciate this, but I should get going. I mean it's late and I... I should be home."

Donna was never good at lies so she only skirted the truth a bit with that. She looked at the jacket and started to pull it off and hand it back to him.

Di shrugged and tossed the pills aside, maybe she could think of something better to relieve his pain soon.... The girl turned to see the teen cop stripping of his top, and her breath caught obviously in her throat as she stumbled over words. "Wr- wrap? Um, what? Wrap? Wrap what? Oh...." She noticed the bruising on his side, and frantically went to looking around for something to... well, wrap him with. Mumbling to herself now and feeling her face turn a deep shade of red - Di much more comfortable with purple herself - she exclaimed another "OH!" as she hopped out of the room and immediately returned with some gauze and tentatively approached her friend.

Her eyes moved along his toned arms, across his muscled chest, down his other arm, and back again. Di mentally, purposefully resisted running her hand over his body, though her fingers ached to trace every muscle, every sinew, every line of his chest and squeeze those tremendous biceps. She sucked in her breath again, trying to remind herself that she was "taken" of sorts.... But, her dear Mina had given her permission to play; theirs was, so far, an open relationship. Right? She shook her head violently, only twice, hoping Roy hadn't noticed. He'd had his hand between her legs only yesterday - only 24 hours ago (okay well maybe a few more than 24, but still) - and since then she'd been dubbed... well, something she wasn't going to yet tell him she'd been dubbed, that's what.
She hesitated as he jumped a little and winced, then bit her lower lip and apologized. If she were going to have her hands on this man, this INJURED man, she ought to pay attention to what she's doing. She let the gauze strip fall, apologizing again, and starting over, wrapping him properly this time. She almost patted it as she finished, taping it closed, but caught herself in time and only lightly kissed his chest as she stood again. Blushing now, looking at him, she had to turn to the floor a moment before she spoke. "So. That okay? Hope I didn't hurt you too much...."
