now thats something we don't see enough of on this site. Actually setting out to make someone happy. Or maybe it is just the sections like sf I tend to go for.

I guess you are not looking for a sf idea, but what about guy that can read minds (or simply has huge insight into other people) but has almost no ego of his own so it isn't really prying. He wanders down a street and there is a woman with a dark cloud around her. It might not be clear what age she is because he sees her as she imagines herself and as she remembers herself all superimposed. He bumps into her, introduces himself and things just flow. He gives her a perfect day. perhaps when he leaves her she is younger than when he met her (in his mind) because she feels younger.
