Yes I know, I don't talk much here at all, but I do lurk quite a bit, and read the great threads. And I hope some of you recognize me here as well ;)

On Thursday I'll be flying on a two weeks vacation to Massachusetts, and while I'm there, I'll be going on a 4 day trip to Niagara Falls.

So now I was wondering if any of you have any ideas as to what to see and do in any of these places?

I live 5 minutes from the Falls

If you like to shop or going to be with some1 that does the Outlet Mall is a must.

We have Food aplenty in the area, while in the Falls you will be only about 20 minutes from Buffalo (i live in between the 2) so you may want to think about going to buffalo also

Do you gamble? There is a new casino in NF that has a great buffet, and i know plenty of people that have won on slots

you can cross over to the canadian side of the falls, to clifton hill where there a ton of small muesems, shops and such. great place to people watch. there is also a casino on the canadian side

The butterfly conservatory is nice depending on the season

Hmm well, start in Massachusetts and head west toward Niagara FAlls.

About half way there, stop in a city called Syracuse. Take a right, travel three hours and find me!

;)

I don't know much about Massachusetts, but if you go west to Albany and head north an hour or two, you will find the Adirondack mountains. Lake George is a nice little town and a couple of hours further north is Lake Placid. In betwixt and between is lots of local cultural stuff and neat little villages.

If you get that far north, you better let me know....I will find you!

:)

Thank you all three for your suggestions.

My friend and I will be staying on the Canadian side of the fall, which some people have told me is where you get the best view of the falls as well.

MissTaken it's a very tempting offer, but I can't make any promises. Now if you on the other hand could convince Merelan to meet you and I for dinner in Syracuse, I would be there!! ;)

lilredwolph thanks for the links, I will make sure to look closer at them :rose:
