I am headed to a one hour massage in a couple hours from now, and just realized I have no clue if tipping is appropriate or not! It is $55 for the hour, and I think it is a sole proprietorship. The owner IS the whole business, in other words.

Any of you out there that get regular massages- what do you tip?

Oops, sorry, I thought from the title that you were falling over, and needed someone to catch you. sorry . never mind.

$10 if it was good, $15 if I forget my name in the process :D.

If the massage isn't good, I don't tip, I say something.

Well, I'm hoping this one is in the "good" category! Thanks for the help!

My best friend is a masage therapist and charges 65$ per hour-she is usually tipped between 10$-15$. Most of the body workers in the Balto./DC area do get tipped between 20-25%. Enjoy the massage-hope it was wonderful!

Thanks! I'm leaving in about 2 minutes and I'm really looking forward to it!
