trying to start a new years habit early. walked out to the lighthouse with my goofy yellow lab first thing in the misty rain.
came home to a message from college friends who have decided that i should not be alone alone for new years and they are arriving tonight.
i mean - okay - yes. it will be good to see them. but they decided for me.
and they might be right. i have not been alone for new years since sometime in college when we were all together then. but i do need to find my way.
off to the store with me. must get supplies.
