Timing- Why Did Trump Set Off A Racism Firestorm ?

What was going on, in the background, that needed such a huge distraction?

The racism firestorm certainly changed the subject.

Mueller made his stand clear, in public.

Trump's denials lost their power.

His man-tits, his arse, and his belly, have been exposed.

"I am not naked, " Trump shouts.

Well, maybe those that are still hypnotised, are still in denial.

But, most now know, the trinity of denials are dust.

Along comes a member of Donald Duncecaps's defense team-

The Pentagon was paid off with a motherlode of cash, from the latest budget.

Is this a thank you gift, to Trump ?

Active-duty U.S. troops are now stationed inside the Border Patrol's
holding facility in Donna, Texas, and monitoring migrant adults and
children from just a few feet away, according to two current and
two former defense officials, a move a congressman says comes close
to violating a 140-year-old federal law.

“It’s not the role of the US military to be a prison guard,” he said,
adding the situation was “certainly mission creep” and could put
soldiers “in a precarious legal situation.”

The US military’s Northern Command defended the troops’ presence
at the detention centre.

“At the Donna facility specifically unarmed military personnel
monitor the migrants for signs of medical distress, possibility
for unrest, unusual behaviour and unresponsiveness,” a spokesperson
said.

“In the event of a medical emergency or other reportable event,
our military personnel immediately notify [Border Patrol]
personnel on-site who respond to the incident or event in question.”

“Monitoring the wellness of migrants is not a law enforcement
function, and this activity has been reviewed by our legal staff
to ensure compliance with the Posse Comitatus Act and applicable
law.

The Racist Firestorm certainly focused attention on Chairman
Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) and his district.
An absolute negative campaign, against Rep. Cummings.

Does this attack on Rep. Elijah Cummings have something to do
with more than just pushing back against racism ?

Ivanka's emails!
Jared Kushner's emails!
Stephen Bannon’s emails.

Trump's emails ?

The House Oversight and Reform Committee voted on Thursday to
authorize subpoenas for senior White House officials’ communications
via private email accounts and messaging applications, a significant
escalation in a years-long, bipartisan effort to learn more about potential
violations of federal record-keeping laws.

On a party-line vote, the committee authorized Cummings to
subpoena all communications sent or received since (pResident D. Duncecap)
took office that were not forwarded to official email accounts within 20 days,
as required by law. Cummings can also subpoena information about whether
those messages contained classified information.

This is classic Trump tactics when he is stressed out because of negative press. He creates a crisis then claims he has cured the problem and then claims victory. His stress was up do to Mueller saying the investigation was not a hoax or a witch hunt. Mueller also said he has not exonerated Trump. In short he was telling the public that Trump has been lying since the investigation started.

Yes, and it certainly did a great job of deflecting attention elsewhere, hasn't it? But I don't believe it'll save Trump. He's already maxed out on the racism, and there are only so many bigots out there (though the number has proven to be depressingly high, there are still more of us!).

I think there was an additional reason for 45's "deflect at any cost" craziness this last week.

After two straight weeks of almost flatline DOW numbers, he wanted to make sure the 2.1 snoozer GDP number that was coming out on Friday was kept out of the headlines and off the Sunday talk shows. He couldn't have his "best economy in history" be a topic when the official reports are showing it's actually sputtering along at numbers below Obama's.

You have to give him style points for going almost full-blown InfoWars though with his "Those book deals need to be investigated" and blaming Obama for his inability to figure out how the White House thermostats work. Now that is professional level grasping at straws.

And just to make sure he caught all of his favorite targets, he topped it off by resurrecting the "Crooked Hillary's crooked foundation" whine which did little more than remind everyone that hers is still actually in existence whereas his was shuttered for self-dealing and multiple other legal violations. Maybe he should have yelled "Benghazi" or "Buttery males" instead? :D

All of this is true. Really, anything to distract from the fact that Mueller basically said Trump should be impeached because he committed treason.

"Make no mistake about it, words matter. "
"And, Mr. Trump’s words are dangerous."
"These words are more than a “dog-whistle.”

"When such violent dehumanizing words come from the
President of the United States, they are a clarion call, and
give cover, to white supremacists who consider people of
color a sub-human “infestation” in America. They serve as
a call to action from those people to keep America great by
ridding it of such infestation.Violent words lead to violent
actions."

"When does silence become complicity?"
"What will it take for us all to say, with one voice,
that we have had enough? "

"The question is less about the president’s sense of decency,
but of ours."

(The letter was not signed by any evangelical Protestant pastors.)

The city of Baltimore, which Trump recently called “very dangerous
& filthy” and “rat and rodent infested,” is just 40 miles from
Washington National Cathedral, the seat of the Episcopal Church.

Who was it, that groveled in front of Trump, on July 29, 2019
and praised Trump out in the driveway ?

Among the more stunning revelations in the book by
POLITICO Magazine’s Tim Alberta is a depiction of
Trump swearing at Evangelical Christians to Republican
lawmakers, then praising himself for having captured their
votes.

The Washington Post’s Josh Dawsey obtained a copy
ahead of the book’s release next week. He writes:

“Those f—ing evangelicals,” Trump says in a meeting with
GOP lawmakers, according to the book, smiling and shaking
his head. In Trump’s mind, Alberta writes, he would “give
them the policies and the access to authority that they longed
for. In return they would stand behind him unwaveringly.”

Standing before the group of religious leaders in 2018,
Trump said of Christianity:

“ ‘I owe so much to it in so many ways.’
He then proceeded to explain that he wouldn’t be
standing before them without it — not because of how
the faith shaped his life or informed his worldview, but
‘because the Evangelical vote was mostly gotten by me.’

The attendees walked out of the room in a daze.”
