I figured it out. It ha my time zone wrong. Thank you for replying. What's wrong with it? Usually it matches whatever time zone your phone is set to.
Can you take a screenshot that shows both the timestamp on your post and the internal time of your phone?
I am very sorry to bother, but where can I find how to change my timezone. Mine is not showing the correct time stamp for my posts.
The time on my phone shows 7:12pm est.
Thank you so much. Your help is greatly appreciated and, again, sorry to be a bother.Step 1.
Go to the very top of this page, on the right side there are three icons: a book, a pen, a person. Click on the person. This will take you to your author profile.

Step 2.
When the profile opens (it will take a few seconds) click on the same icon again, this will open a menu. Choose "options" from that menu.
Step 3
There are two choices on the top "my profile" and "my options", click on "my options"
Find the time menu there.
Has this changed? I'm not seeing "a book, a pen and a person."
Not on the right, anyway. I see a book labeled "Explore" and a pen labeled "New Story," these are both in the middle. I see my own name and avatar near the upper right. It doesn't take me to my author profile.
I can get to my author profile through the Stories part of the site. I have a time zone set in there. That preference does not carry over into the Forums. Every timestamp I see in the Forums is off by 8 hours.
Thanks but if you'll read my stuff above you'll see I already set my time zone in "My Options."If you use the new design on a desktop, open your control panel (your Avatar in the top-right corner) -> Options.
Then on the "My Options"-Tab in the top.
Now you can select the right Time-Zone. That will be used for the Forum as well.
If you use the new design on a smartphone, click the Avatar-Icon (still in the top-right corner) to extend the Control-Panel, and choose "Options" -> "My Options"

It doesn't affect the Forum.
Not stupid, yes it's saved.Stupid Question, but are you sure you clicked on "Save Changes" after setting a timezone?
Then mine shows this,
Which you can clearly see is an hour later than the actual post. I think this is going to drive me insane![]()
So if I think what you are saying is that if your time zone was correct you would be seeing it as I do??Funny thing is... I'm currently in a GMT+2 zone as well, and thought everything was fine because my times are shown correctly. Turns out, though... GMT+1 is selected in my options, and I do not recall ever changing that.
So if I think what you are saying is that if your time zone was correct you would be seeing it as I do??
So then it is a site system problem?Yes. Everything would be one hour ahead of what all of my local clocks say.
