Time Warner Cable, never knows what's a problem.
During the fast moving heavy lightning storm on Tuesday night around 9:00 PM I lost all signal to my cable modem for internet service, I called Time Warner on Wen. morning telling a alleged Tech. in Syracuse on my cell phone I have no internet connection, he tells me to reset the cable MODEM and it did nothing for the connection, next he tells me my MODEM was fried from a lightning hit and to call the manufacture of my modem for a replacement, I called the manufacturer in Santa Barbara, Cal. and gave him the serial number from my MODEM and he told me I am under warranty until Sept. 19 so he shipped me out a new MODEM and I am to send my old MODEM back within 1 month.
Today Time Warner sent a Tech. to my house to test the wiring of cable and after 1 hour and 15 Min. he reports back to me that a made in China filtering Capacitor out on the road was defective that is why I had no internet service so he directly tied my incoming cable to the line on the St. so now I get internet, I have 1 free new replacement MODEM being shipped to me yet the old MODEM still works and I even now get free basic cable T.V., what a deal from a alleged Tech. in Syracuse, N.Y.
