Time Waits for No One: Closer Than Family(Closed for The_Gladiator)

he laughed and adjusted the water to give them more warm water his hands sliding over her washing her gently.

"Mmm...that was definitely a good way to start the day," she murmured with a smile, closing her eyes as his hands slid over her. "You're still paying for breakfast though," she teased softly, running her hands up and down his sides.

"Be nice, or I'll make you get dressed and take you to McDonalds." he teased as he finished sentually washing her.

She laughed as she took the soap for him, her hands gentle as she started to wash him. "Hey...I think I've been pretty nice so far," she teased back, grateful that he seemed to be happy again.

"Yes you have." he said a hint of sadness coming into his eyes before he banished it, "Thank you Roxy, I'm sorry I'm such an emotional reck." he said softly.

"You don't have to thank me, Mark. I've been an emotional wreck tons of times before...I figured it would be your turn at some point," she teased lightly as she tilted her head to kiss him softly, her hands continuing to wash him.

He returned her gentle kiss moaning a little, "That feels good." he said softly, not really specifying if he meant the kisses or her gentle hands which just so happened to be washing his nether regions.

She smiled, kissing him again as her hands gently finished washing him. She was so happy that nothing seemed to have really changed between them, happy that the night before hadn't just been a druken mistake. "You ready for some breakfast?" she asked softly, feeling the water start to turn cool again.

"Yeah Ready." he said turning off the water and stretching, "Shit you only have one towl here, "We didn't exactly think this all the way through did we?" he asked peaking out of the shower.

"We can work with this...be right back," she told him with a laugh, then dashed out of the shower and back out to her room. She returned wearing a short terrycloth robe, grabbing a hand towel to dry her hair with. "You can have the towel," she said with a grin, leaning against the sink. "Though I think I should probably go buy another towel or too, just in case," she added, grabbing the towel off the rack and holding it out to him.

She smiled as she rubbed the towel over her hair, not able to keep her eyes off of him as he dried off. "You're welcome, Mark," she murmured with a smile, dropping the hand towel to the side of the sink before she pulled her wet hair up into a ponytail. "If I remember correctly, your sweatpants are somewhere by my couch," she said, blushing a little.

"Are they?" Mark asked, not honestly remembering where he'd abandoned them the night before, some of the details muddling in his head.

"I think so. We were on the couch when...um...when everything happened," Roxy said softly, feeling slightly nervous again for some reason.

"That's right." he said smiling, "When you decided to, well make me feel amazing." he said blushing and smiling.

She felt her face heat up and knew she was blushing again. "You did a pretty good job of making me feel amazing too," she replied with a smile, starting to remember the wonderful things he'd done to her. "I can go get those for you, if you want. I'm sure the shades are open in the living room, and I doubt you want to give my neighbors a show," she said, laughing a little.

She rolled her eyes, glaring at him playfully. "Mmm...you sure do move on fast," she teased with a grin, then left for a moment to go grab his sweatpants. "There you go," she said with a smile, tossing them at him. "I'll go dig out those menus," she added, walking back out to her bedroom.

"Sounds good to me." he said pulling on the pants and following her, "Find anything good?" he asked sitting beside her looking over her shoulder.

She surprised herself by leaning back against him when he looked over her shoulder, the action feeling quite natural to her. "This place here is only a few blocks away and they serve breakfast...so delivery time should be pretty quick," she said, lifting one of the menus. "Here...look it over and see what you want," she added with a smile, handing the menu over her shoulder to him.

"I can't actually believe there is a place that delivers breakfast food." he said scanning the Menu, "You sure this isn't a joke?" he said curling an arm around her waist as she leaned against him without even thinking beginning to scan the contents of the menu.

"You know I never joke when it comes to food, Mark," she said with a laugh, smiling when his arm wrapped around her waist. "Especially if it means I don't have to get dressed to go get it," she told him, recalling the many weekend mornings that she'd ordered in.

"Pancakes sound good." he said, "With scrambled eggs and bacon." he said, "I'll pay if you order." he said with a smile, "This is your place afterall."

"Sounds like a good deal to me," she said with a smile, reaching over to grab the phone by her bed. She called in the order, then relaxed against him again after she'd hung up. "Should be about 15 minutes or so," she told him, stretching her legs a little.

he laughed, "And what can we do in 15 minutes." he teased, "Nothing too exciting I'm sure." he said with a small laugh.
