I'm still trying to figure out how they got that many "newbies" to post in one thread, without it seeming like they might all be the same person, ahem.

I'm also sad to see that it's just a fad that some of us have or do use pics for our av's that are actually us. How is it a fad, I ask. I see it more of someones personal taste for that day, week, month or whatever.

All the above B.S. said, we were all newbies at one time. I remember WAAAAAAAAAAY back when I registered in July, and figured I'd never make it to 100 posts, thus never getting my own av. Then when I finally made it a month or so later, I wondered if I'd ever make it to 500 so I could be a guru. I certainly NEVER thought I'd make it to 1000 so I could have my OWN title. But what do you know? I became addicted, and here I am spending hours at a time, sometimes MANY hours at a time, during the day.

Okay I dont get the reason why you should pick on the newbies?

I posted on that thread,it seemed a nice thing to do. Its so scary to start posting on the boards,and heck I didnt post on the general board until my numbers were high. So if saying hello and welcome is a bad thing I dont get it. And I would love to know why you shouldnt?

lovetoread, it's a joke by the way... we don't hate newbies, as I pointed out, we all were at one time. The only thing that's obviously not liked is a knowitall, whether a newbie, or oldie, and doesn't waver, whether proven wrong or not.

No,my question wasnt to you personally,it was a general one thats all. I wasnt on your ass,though I am sure it is a fine one. But there is a tendency to tease the newbies alot thats all.It just seemed like a good place to ask it.

If I was a newbie,would I have been brave enough to ask it at all?
