Time out on New Story

It took me four attempts before I was able to get a New Story loaded for preview, The server timed out three times and each time I had to start again from scratch.,

It seems I read somewhere that if you log on securely, using an "https" instead of "http", you'll get a longer time logged on without being bumped. But I may be confusing this with another site.

I was on with https.

Maybe it is the other way around.
