Time Is Fleeting and Ruled By Silence.

Today marks forty five years that I have worked in this Department where I am employed.

I have worked there a total of forty seven years and three months.

If God favors me I have three more to got fore I drag up.

I'll have to see about this latest bunch to own us, I still have them on probation...

Some days I wonder where does the time go and other days I think GOD will it ever end!

The older I get the less people I know that are still alive!

The moment you think about the present, its immediately in the past. And when you think about tomorrow its here all too soon!

Stop thinking, live life for now!

Congratulations on your significant achievement.

Nobody plays for the same team that long anymore, which makes your achievement even more highly praise-worthy.

I recall from reading you over the years here that your employer has changed hands many times and you've always survived the re-orgs, downsizing and other shit.

Hopefully any company pension fund, if there is one, is intact and is a defined benefits scheme with 100% widows benefits coverage.

It would be a great inducement to attract an outstanding Retirement Wife.

I am not a machinist ...I am in their Union.

Just so happens that I get full SS at the same age I will have my fifty years in almost to the month... I am sixty four now.
