If they do, I personally hope it ends similar to the air traffic controllers strike when Regan was POTUS! Fuck them!
It can't. The governor does not have the authority to fire them.
In any case, if you set yourself against organized labor, then you are an enemy of humanity, against whom any atrocity is morally permissible. Too bad Reagan is now out of reach of atrocities.

the parents' priority should be to protect their children
but if the parents aren't ensuring their kids are masked and, as adults, the parents themselves are vaxxed, i'm not seeing those types demanding teachers should be protecting their kids from sickness, too. They seem more concerned with the inconvenience to their own lives that having to quarantine their kids at home. Of course, this all could be mitigated by following the health advice given by the CDC.
teachers should no more pose a threat to kids than be expected to accept being exposed (due to their state's gov't) to a potentially fatal virus because 'parents know better' when–very clearly–too many do not. they obviously don't know better than the expert virologists and epidemiologists around the world.
when the state's demanding teachers must accept unacceptable health-risks in the course of performing their work duties, where is the teachers' union? how many parents would suddenly decide it was better to quarantine little Karl or Melanoma* for the required 1 or 2 weeks if the union threatened school shut downs over safety concerns for their members?
* a floridian misspelling of Melania

No, for their members. Who have a right to organize for their own collective interests, and anyone who stands against that -- any union-buster or strikebreaker -- is an enemy of humanity. May all such die horribly.

It's already been refuted. The Constitution promises safe schools, that means sick kids can't be in attendance. The union is keeping kids safe. Why don't you want kids to be safe?

They couldn't if they wanted to. Some people can't take the vaccine for medical reasons.

Funny how you make excuses when it serves your interest. Then those teachers shouldn't be teaching. Kids can't take the vaccine and those teachers are not allowing for safe schools.

The law says very differently about that. Kids and teachers can wear masks, and social distance to make schools as safe as possible. Kids can also do virtual school.
