can u hear it 2?

Hey, Mr. DJ put a record on, I wanna dance baybay.

oh, & can some 1 catch aimee manns "4th of july" on mp3?

i lost mine and cant find it. :)

I trust 'Cindy Rooney' is a pet name. Had me thrown at first too.

No idea who covered the song, but a little searching shows a few names of people who have done it. Apparently Eva Cassidy did a cover for Smallville, which is geared to the teenage generation, so safe bet rides on that.

You can just d/l Aimee Mann's preformance off a p2p if you need to. If you're anti-p2p but still pro-mp3s-off-the-internet, I guess I could d/l and e-mail to ya.

No, no, no, it was Stan Getz w/Astrud Gilberto.

Okay, truth in posting requires me to confess, C Lauper wrote and recorded the first version of, Time After Time. I'm not sure if that was before or after the time she and Hulk Hogan were an item.

I was a big Miles Davis fan at the time his album "You're Under Arrest" came out. I heard Miles' version of "time After Time" before I heard Cindi's orginal version. I prefer the original. But Miles was only doing what jazz musicians have always done, take slightly cheesy pop tunes and twist them around a little.

Gotta admit I didn't know Davis "covered" that tune. Thanks, Sub Joe.

EM, Hulk Hogan was/is a "celebritry" professional wrestler. Was in a few films, and such. ada The Hulkster.
