I'm not sure. Possibly but i did read this..

Although there are something like 200 plants in the world that produce latex, over 99 percent of the world's natural rubber is made from the latex that comes from a tree species called Hevea brasiliensis, widely known as the rubber tree.

Every time I hear about "tight leather", I think of David Lee Roth's autobiography. When Van Halen first hit it big, Roth thought it necessary to purchase tight leather pants to achieve higher rock-star status.

He goes into excrutiating detail about the month it took to break them in, the chafing of Little Dave, and the various sorts of agony he was forced to endure.

The final indignity was that human sweat on newly tanned leather worn every day for a month caused his legs to become discolored for months afterwards, and no amounts of soap or scrubbing could get the tannic acid and dye out of his legs....
