TIDAL WAVE: THE TENNESSEAN ENDORSES ROMNEY: For those of you unfamiliar with the Nashville-based paper, it is the former employer of Al Gore, and a steadfast liberal paper. Its editorial board today formally endorsed Mitt Romney for President, concluding:

The next president must be the one with the best chance to get the crushing, $16 trillion national debt under control, coupled with the more immediate need of enabling a vibrant job market.

It is because the economy is paramount that The Tennessean endorses Gov. Mitt Romney for president.

The editors conclude with advice to Romney, “Be the man who governed Massachusetts, and you’ll reunite America.”

Kudos to the Tennesseean for putting country above party.

Tee hee:D

god help us if obama gets another 4 years. yes he deserves 4 years, but as the bunk mate of Blagojevich

Newspaper EDITORIAL BOARD endorsements are nice...

...but the impact is just about zero. Television and radio advertising account for a majority of the impact on potential voters. Most people are just too fucking stupid to read.

yes

but

in this case

its MAN BITES DOG

trend is your friend

well, maybe not YOUR friend:D

Should women voters be the next group to back Romney?

The last person who could read already left Tennessee...

Hell, they LIKED the replacement refs!

The Tennessean movie reviewer gave 4 out of 5 stars to Disney's Wreck-It Ralph. That ensures at least a $150 million opening day box office in the US.

RENO GAZETTE-JOURNAL ENDORSES ROMNEY: Another large paper abandons Obama in favor of Romney. The Reno Gazette- Journal, which endorsed Obama in 2008, switches to Romney, telling its readers:

A vote to re-elect Obama promises four more years of the same. In the two debates between the two candidates so far (a third, on foreign affairs, is scheduled for Monday), the president has shown little understanding of how his failures are affecting the nation, and he hasn’t offered any tangible proposals to change course.

Precisely.

Would it make a difference if the NyTimes, Wash Post, LA times and Chi trib endorsed Romney?...:)
