Thru Time... {All Welcome Please PM First}

Io/264B.C./Aidan

Looking around me and then down at myself, "ok Goddess you could of at least given me time to change. These garments will not match to what the present day is." Taking another quick look around I notice someone's laundry hanging outside, judging the size quickly I make a trade. Leaving behind my pinky ring knowing it would more then enough payment for the garments, I step behind a building and change. Placing my clothing in a nook where I was sure to be able to find them later if need me.

Aidan, that was who I was to look for. Well if the Goddess had brought me here then this is where he had to be. Or so I hoped. Scanning the area about me, seeing beautiful white roman buildings around me. Where should my search begin I wondered.

In the distance I see a huge round white building where there seemed to be several people milling around. Shrugging my shoulders giving a sigh of hope, my feet take me that way. Aidan I had to keep repeating the name, I didn't want to chance forgetting it and messing up the Goddess's plans for me.

"Oh Goddess I hope my sister's are fairing better then I am. I am not going to question your motives but maybe we could have been better prepared for your designs on us." Smiling and shaking my head, what was I thinking she was a Goddess and only she knew what she was doing.

Nodding my head to the people I walk by stopping every so often to listen to a conversation. Trying to catch the dialet that they are using before stepping away and trying in on my own tongue. I needed to fit in and this was the best way I could think of doing it. In school I had been pretty good with foreign languages but this was very foreign.

As I get close to the Coliesum I begin to hear chanting, a name... "Aidan... Aidan.." Feeling my heart skip a beat, could it have been that easy I wonder, quickly heading inside. Looking about me to see who the name belongs to, then down. Seeing a man stopped by the guards at the gate, he looked strange standing there, the crowd of people seemed to think he was something. Which indeed he was a sight to see.

Then before the man steps out he turns and I hear the roar of the crowd again, booing the guards. Maybe he was dressed funny to me his clothing barely covering his body, but hey I would probably be dressed strangely to him besides people in my era of time we wore less at times. Looking to the heaven's I whisper softly. "No Goddess this can not be, he is a gladiator. How am I to get his attention and talk him into helping me with my quest?" Remembering my history most gladiators were slaves, I had no gold to buy him with and I just couldn't steal him from his Masters. Or could I?

Turning to head down into the building itself, I get a new shock as I watch Adian being drug into a cart his hands and feet tied. Where were they taking him I wondered, but the guards standing around him made me question whether I should approach them or not. "Excuse Good Sir where might this slave be bond for?" I ask, trying out my newest dialet. Hearing his reply of the slave blocks, "well Sh*t Goddess now what am I to do. I can't very well steal him from the slave blocks."

The Goddess Avaline - Richard - Michiko

Smiling at the funny man, his clothing tattered, torn and muddy, Avaline moved slowly towards him, and the young woman, who is having little luck at covering her naked form. "Oh... Lady Michiko, I greatly apologize for bringing you here without proper clothing." Avaline smiles and reaches out to her, and places her palm on her shoulder, a soft shimmering gown of lemon yellow drapes the young woman's body, on it are small silver disks and gold threads depicting moons and stars. "There I've made it up to you."

Avaline ran her eyes over the man called Richard, "You however it seems have been lucky enough to have your clothing on." Laughing quietly she presses her hand on his shoulder, and his clothing is also transformed. Garments of rich blue denim and a white T-shirt now adorn his body, along with a pair of fine snake skin boots. "Handsome gentleman you are."

"Now I know each of you are quite confused, and I'll do my best to explain everything." Taking a deep breath Avaline explained that she was one of many Goddesses... however, she was the one appointed to finding perfect mates. "Five sisters are right now on a quest. After they complete the requirements, then their true love will be revealed to them."

Avaline waved towards them and the three were suddenly sitting in a beautiful gazebo, surrounded by roses and lilies. "Michiko, I need your assistance. You need to find the girl Ciara. She is searching for a man named Valic. When you find her take this silver disk and take her to the year of traveling gypisies and entertainers... " winking at Richard she added, "The Dark Ages. Once your there you will seek out Richard. But he won't look like he does now... he will no longer be a Minstril but a great Knight." Avaline shot a look at Richard as he tried to protest.

"I'll explain in a moment!"

"Michiko... Deliver her to Richard in whatever manner you find fit. When you've done that you may use the silver disk to come back to me. After the girls have found their mates.. I will reward you whatever you desire."

Michiko thought over this while Avaline addressed Richard, "Now... you will still be able to sing, you will still be able to play your lute, everything you do now you'll always be able to do... I need you to be this Knight. Just for a while. While your there learn something, you are familiar to the area, you will just be more important, surely there is someone you don't like and would like to annoy." Taking a deep breath, Avaline continued, "Before you go there you will travel to a time in the future, and look for a man named Scytherin. Eventually you will see him with a woman named Wyn."

Avaline stood up and stretched. Smiling wickedly she told Richard, "I want you to woo lady Wyn. Use all your manly charms, and do what you can to deter her in her quest to transport Scytherin away from his time. If you find this not possible then use this silver disk to travel back to me. Do this quickly.. because Michiko will probably have Ciaro before you get back to your Dark Ages, and she needs to stay there until you get there. As with Michiko, once the women have their mates, I'll give you whatever you wish to have."

Looking at them both, "You are not to aid them on their quest, just get them where they need to go."

As she waved the two figures away, she told them that she would be watching them and would help them if they were in a bind, "I know this sounds odd, but in the end a Goddess has it all figured out."

She watched the two beings images dissolve and then heard the familiar laugh of Zues. "Yes... I know I don't know what I'm doing, but I'll figure it out. Damn, confusing humans! I have to go whisper in some ears and nab a man from a planet."

Avaline rolled her eyes, "I know!!! I forgot to tell the men what to do with the disks!!!" She stormed off in a huff, "Oh shut up!" she said as she heard his bellowing laugh fill the air. "Yes, I'll be quick about it."

Avaline dropped into each man's thought and sent one long message... "You will be visited by three people. You will need that disk... to travel to distant lands and times... don't lose your disks.... all will be revealed." Getting up from her perch on the cloud, she dusted off some make believe dust and then snapped her fingers.

"Ahhh, hello Valic. I seem to have a desire to play with you... "

Sir Richard The Minstrel~The Super Duper Future

"Ok... but. I don't know anything about... I think it's best if... "

Richard spoke to a blank wall, as a whirl of smoke crept from his feet, disappearing in the cool breeze. For a moment, he didn't quite understand. Dizziness and nausea crept up to him. He didn't feel right until his fee touched the ground.

And even then, his head kept spinning every now and then.

The world about him came alive. Sounds he had never heard rushed towards him, sights, moving and stable invaded his eye sight. Buildings that kissed the blue huned sky towered over him like ancient giants in the tales he used to tell for his supper.

People passed him without a second glance. Some spoke to people who weren't there, others had devices on their heads, metal that molded to them, some laughed, others spat angry words. Richard backed up, his eyes wide and fearful.

His hand crept down to his side, where he kept a dagger. It did him little good, but a man without a weapon in his time was a silly man indeed. He knew little of its use, but it would feel good in his hand anyw...

It wasn't there. He looked down at his robes, and saw only the clothing the goddess had given him. Blue denim that seemed to mold against his skin, and a shirt the tightest he had ever worn. Quickly his hand searched the pockets for something to help him.

He only found a square piece of plastic, some green pieces of paper, and a silver disk.

"Goddess..." He whisped, putting them back in his pocket. He had nothing here in this strange time. Nothing to help him.

A train went by. Noisy carriage that had no horses in front of it, but it did have other carriages behind it. Many of them. As it came to a stop it made a loud screeching sound. Richard fell to his feet, covering his ears.

"Stop... stop. Stop."

His eyes looked up for something, someone to help him. All these strange people, in strange clothing. The clothing!!! My goodness, some wore so little, they might as well be wearing nothing. He saw pieces of flesh he had only seen in brothels and bathouses before. Tight, clingy, accentuated, sexy, adorable. Words on their clothing, pictures, most he didn't understand.

And, with some heaved clarity, the path parted for just a moment, and he saw a woman in clean robes. She did not look like she belonged here either. His eyes lit up, seeing her.

"Thank god," He said, still on his knees, crawling towards her. People stood out of his way, some handed him strange coins, while others just rolled their eyes and moved one.

"Miss, miss, please, I don't know who you are, but help me. This isn't my time. I don't... I don't know where I am."

He looked at her, his large brown puppy dog eyes pleading, "I don't know when I am."

Raven~Ben~1983

Since the first drink went down so smoothly..and rather quickly...I ponder whether or not to order another...still glancing around to see if I can spot this one I am supposed to be looking for...if I have too many drinks ..it will be useless..yet ..I am so damn nervous..I really need one.

Absently staring at faces my eyes land on one ...I see this awesome guys lips moving...deep brown eyes and black hair...yummy...I snap out of my daydream long enough to hear him speak to me...

“Hey, haven’t seen you here before, can I buy you a drink?”
Smiling at this original line....I tilt my head and blush slightly...looking back up to see him looking at me...I nod...and say..."Yes , thank you...yes, I am new here"

Biting my tongue not to ask him his name...knowing that would be too easy that "he" would be the one...and hey another drink may help me relax so it wont be such a difficult task to ask for names. Besides this guy was very cute and the goddess never said anything about not having a little bit of fun, while we look for these men, and this one may be fun to pass the time with. Raven smiles again at the dark haired man.

Michiko - Another Planet

Michiko looked up to the Goddess and sighed, "Yes, I will do as you ask.. If only to return to my Lady Achika."

Her eyes closed and when she opened them again she was no longer in the cloud laden home of the Goddess, she was now in a desert, something that she had never even dreamt of. Her eyes were wide as she stared at a never ending shoreline. There was sand but no water and she had never seen such a thing. It all seemed to be neverending until she spotted the small town, or at least, it seemed small from her vantage point.

She looked down at the dress the Goddess had placed upon her and she quickly pulled it off, tearing it even. She took the small silver disk that came with it and placed her kimino on before continuing her journey towards the town.

Walking in a burning hot desert can be a hellish experience, but it gives one time to think. She was uncertain of why this Goddess had even come to her asking that she perform this task, she could not understand the plans of a kami. She would do this Goddess' work, the conniver that this creature was, and be done with it.

It took her many hours until she reached the town, her body was covered in sweat, her skin red, and her body utterly exhausted. She fell to her knees at the entrance to the city, barely able to look up at it with half-closed eyes before she fell to her knees, then face first onto the ground, coughing out a weak word, "Ciara..."

Wyn and Scytherin

Wyn mannaged to find a newspaper. Sitting down on a bench she kept looking at the date over and over again. Looking around she wondered how she was going to find this Scytherin, and what she would say if she did fine him.

Standing she put the paper back on the magazine stand and decided her best corse of action would be to pretend she was visiting, and had lost her all of her stuff. Turning to the newpaper, and magazine sales person she said. Hi my name is Wyn, and i was wondering if you could help me? Have you heard of someone named Scytherin??

Scytherin & Wyn

He sighed and turned off the tv as the show ended. He looked back over at the disk and placed it back into his pocket as he stood up and decided to go for a walk. He grabbed his keys and placed them in his other pocket as he headed outside.

He breathed in the fresh air and sighed. He loved the out doors, though whenever he did his job, he poluted the air alittle. He was a racer, motorbike racer anyway. He got onto his bike and roared off as he headed into town. As he was heading into town, the glorious large city seemed to glow as he kept getting closer, alot of it was bigger than what it used to be.

Once into town, and passing by the large Robotics building. He parked in the nearest parking spot and got off. He went over to the newstand and paid for his usual paper. He then heard from behind him.

Well, your in luck miss, that would be him. He pointed over to the man that had just baught a paper.

Goddess...

Avaline looked down on the pawns that she had shuffled, calling Valic over she had him sit with her, while she continued to play in lives and wreak havoc among the humans.

"You know Valic, if you were down there, you would not be happy."

He looked at her questionably.

"Still not talking to me, heh? You know, I could force you to, but I won't. I am having to much fun toying in the lives of the others. So you can just sit there and be all high and mighty, but we both know that a mere man, is nothing but that mere, and a Goddess much higher." She chuckled at the flaming fire that burned in his eyes. "Well, you will see... I mean no harm, just teaching them a lesson in loving."

Valic rolled his eyes and fought the anger he held inside.

"You know, I'll get you to talk sometime... even if it is only in fury and anger, but perhaps..." Avaline got up, as did Valic. "Perhaps in passion you will talk."

Avaline smiled as she slowly slid her finger up along his chest. Feeling the material of his station, coarse and thick with filth. "You are to fine a man, to wear such garments as these. I believe you will need to wear something more... clean and yet more... showey." His eyes glared at her, as she suddenly had his body in clothes similar to those the Minstrel Richard had been wearing when he left her cloud.

Smiling Avaline walked around Valic, admiring the tight fit of the slacks that the humans called jeans. However as she took in the tight t-shirt she decide, he didn't need that, so with a snap of her fingers, she removed that offending article.

Valic moved towards her, his arms gripped in fists. She knew that she had pushed him, further then before and she relished in the fury she saw in his eyes. Suddenly a great clap of thunder was heard surrounding her. Looking up she tossed back her hair, and shouted, "You know I wouldn't do that!"

Valic looked at her as if she had taken leave of her senses. She continued to argue with the being that he couldn't see. "I wouldn't control his mind. Oh do be quiet," another thunder clap sounded. "You don't scare me... fine, I'll continue watching."

Looking at Valic she motioned him to go explore, but not to fall off the cloud, she had people to torment. "So... Richard is crying, guess I should have put the courage of Knight inside him." Blowing a gentle wind she restored him to his senses and calmed his mind. "Relax my sweet minstrel, all will be well.... " she sent the words to him, knowing that peace would soon enter his body.

Continuing her review of the pieces she sees that Michiko has torn the lovely gown, "Michiko... the gown was from a Goddess, how could you destroy such a gift, you to will now be taught a lesson." Avaline thought hard, Michiko was experiencing pain all ready, but now she would have to endure more, as she had taken a rare gift and destroyed it. Sending a whisper to the guards of the Sultan, where Valic had been, she told them of a woman of such rare beauty, the Sultan would reward them handsomely for her.

Avaline watches Ben and Raven meet at the bar, then sees Scytherin and Wyn meet. "Wonderful, all is going as planned."

Aidan

Smiling widely, not thinking more of the lovely Lady then some fan who had watched over the years as I time in and time out fought for my life against the other mighty gladiators... All I could think now was " All that work... trying to fight for a life that I did not even own... why did I fight? I wondered, why not just end a miserable existance and save myself work from the scowls and ridicule of the rich..."

Grinning now with the thought of such irony... Whispering to myself, "Entertaining these people for soo long... now I am to become once again just as I had started out as... A meer feild worker... no longer a gladiator I thought... just a simple slave."

My Thoughts shifting almost instantly as I hear an unfamiliar voice telling me of the item that was given to me "Do Not Lose This Item... You Shall Be Visited By 3..." just then the wheels of the cart began rolling toward the block scrambling my thoughts... "3... people I presume?"

Looking about the streets in awe I think "Wow it really has been to long since I have seen outside that damned Colosseum" Looking at the faces lining the street of the slave block... "Who would buy me I thought... and for how much... what would I be placed as? all thoughts racing through my head as I am placed in a cage behind the main block..." "Don't you go anywhere now Aidan." one of the guards chuckled as he walked away.

Looking about I begin spotting several well dressed farm and store owners from all corners of Rome... One in particular catching my eye. I'd never seen a woman of such beauty... I had wondered what a woman like that would want with such vile slaves... looking around me eying the other slaves.

"We shall see..." I whisper... then quickly quiet down as the auctioning begins for the first set of slaves.

Ciara wandered the streets of the planet aimlessly, not seeing a person that she remotely recognized or anything that could help her.

Io/264 BC/Aidan

Moving from the building I follow the cart at a much slower pace not wanting to attrack much attention. Thinking how might I come up with gold in this time and age without giving away that I was not here. Or even for that matter how to just steal him from the slaver's blocks. I wasn't to sure how the Goddess would take to me stealing but damn I was running out of options. As I watch the guards move Aidan from the cart and place him into a small cage.

Milling about with the other prospective buyers checking out the wears to be had, I kept my eyes and ears upon Aidan mainly. They still hadn't removed his gear yet, so I had no clue what he would look like without it. I could have almost laughed with that thought. Yeah if I didn't know the gear I wouldn't know which man I was to buy.

Aidan looked so cramped in that small cage, I just wanted to get him out and then run like hell. Away from this time, back to my own where the thought of cars, guns, smog.. such just didn't sound all that bad to me now.

Walking a bit away from all the other people, as a thought comes to me. Mumbling under my breath, "I wonder if maybe..." Closing my eyes, I start to concentrate seeing a small dust devil swirl in my minds eye. Then opening my eyes to watch as the form from my mind starts to form. Though not as strong as it would have been with my sisters, my magic was still available to me. But now how to use it to the best of my abilities, without getting caught doing it. Feeling that my time was soon going to run out.

Moving again into the crowd I push and shove my way towards Aidan's cage, acting as if I really knew what I was doing. I was hoping the gown I had gotten earlier would blend in enough so as to make it look like I was important. Soon I find myself up close to his cage, close enough to see sweat coating his body. Close enough to admire the muscles in his arms and legs. I couldn't help but wander what he looked like but still his head was covered.

Speaking as quietly as I could, "Aidan can you hear me if so please just nod your head, so that I know that you can. I am going to try and break you free but I do not have the gold to buy you with. You must trust me, for I have been sent here for you." Standing there I preyed he would hear me, and that no one else would. I wasn't to sure how close I could get, or even if I was allowed to talk to the slaves to be sold, but I was more then willing to try.

Alexandria~Dale~1806

For a long and very silent moment the men eye me and I glare at them. What! I am not on exhibit for a museum am I? Have they never seen a woman before?

"Can I help you gentlemen? Or do you always barge into the rooms occupied by women?" I demand angrily.

"Are you mad?" Counters a man as he takes a cautious step forward.

My watch the foot take its step and glare up at the man, "Another step and you'll get this pitcher hurled at your head. As for being mad? What gave my most obvious mood away?"

Annoyed with everything I start to hiss in my childish way. My thoughts are quickly organized and I discover that I must uncover the identity and whereabouts of . . . Dale.

"Do you know Dale?" I ask suddenly very polite.

"Doesn't he own the ranch out yonder?" Asks a guy to one of his buddies.

All of the guys in the group eye the man seemingly annoyed.

"He sure does, we are friends of his. Do you know Dale?" A man that looks to be the leader of the group asks suspiciously.

Ah, so the poor man is stupid.

"That isn't any of your business," I reply coldly.

"Must be a girl from his past." Comments the dominate cowboy.

"You may think that," I reply tartly, annoyed with the cowboys.

"That explains it!" Another of the men states randomly.

Without another word more, I set the glass article in its original space, and they transport me to Dale's ranch in a most uncomfortable fashion.

Angrily I throw myself from the macho leader's horse and shoot him a withering glance of which he seems oblivious to. I turn to the porch and see a man standing there, his eyes are watching mine suspiciously.

"Good day, Dale!" The man I'd shared the horse with greets the cowboy standing on the porch, he seems almost intimidating. Almost.

Ben & Raven 1983

Hmm, this might be easier than I thought, already accepting a drink from me. I nodded to the bartender to get us both a new drink, getting off my stool and moving over next to hers. Feeling the disk in my pocket as I reach in for money to pay for the drinks. I extend my hand, introducing myself as Ben and asked her name. "Raven, that's a beautiful name."

Raven sounded perfect for her, it fit her body well. It made me think of someone who would be devilish in bed, adventuresome, never getting enough. I glanced over her body, taking in each curve, imagining my fingers and tongue, following my eyes.

"So, Raven since you are new around here, just where does a beautiful lady like yourself originate?"

“Good Day John” I responded, “what’s going on?”

I looked from John to the lovely lady standing before me. As lovely as she was one could immediately tell that she was not in a pleasant mood just from the look on her face. Well, my first thought was that she was upset with me but then I thought again and realized that there isn’t any way that she could be upset with me. I don’t even know her.

“Good day Milady” I said as I tipped my hat to her in greeting.

After several moments of unnerving silence, I had to say something or the glares going between the lady before me and John.

“What might be able to assist you lot with?” I said trying to ease the silence but in a firm tone so that it would startle people just a little, just enough to break them from glaring at each other and remember why they were here.

“This little lady was asking for you” John stated in a very sarcastic voice.

I shot John a look that told him straight off that it was enough with the dirty looks and it was to stop now.

“Oh, okay” I said with a smile. “How might I be of assistance to you milady?” I stated kindly as to trying to ease up her mood a bit with a bit of courtesy that my friends should have shown her from the beginning.

“As you might have guessed, my name is Dale”

Sitting there watching you looking over me with an almost intimidated look crossing your face.

Evaluating my options on whither or not to continue, I figured I had very little choice as to find out what she may want of me. My hopes were to get to know her better but something was telling me she was not having the greatest of all days to sit down and get to know one another. I was hoping that her glares were just from the lack of hospitality my friends had shown her.

“I can take it from here ya’ll, thank you for bringing her out. If she needs a ride somewhere I’ll be happy to take her wherever she may need or want to go.”

With needing to say little more to the gentlemen on the horses for them to realize that there welcome had basically been overstayed. I tipped my hat as I watched them turn around to leave and catching the slightest hint of a smile cross her face when she realized that they were leaving.

This gave me great hope in the fact that she was actually there for me and not because someone was playing a rotten joke like they have several times in the past with knowing how lonely I was getting. I wasn’t like the other guys when it came to companionship. I was a one woman man.

I turned to her once more and realized that she had not taken her eyes off me for some time. This I couldn’t understand why being that I was half way between dirty and filthy from working around the ranch. There was something very special about this woman standing before me, but as for what? I didn’t know just yet but was going to get the opportunity to spend the time with her to find out.

“And might I have the honor of getting your name milady?” I said with a smile as I took her hand and kissed it gently in greeting never taking my eyes off hers.

Michiko - Sultan's City - Some other Planet

"Is this the woman the Sultan seeks?"

"I'm not sure, better take her to the Sultan just incase, if it is we could be rewarded handsomely."

Michiko came to as the voices reverberated in her mind, her eyes slowly opened to look upon to strong, powerful, men armed with spears who, by their appearance, were likely gaurds. She pushed herself up until one of them pointed his spear at her, she reacted by reach quickly for her sword. Which wasn't there. And the gaurds reacted with the same sort of violent force.

The first smacked her right across the jaw with the handle of his spear before the other kneed her in the stomach, knocking the air out of her already weak, frail, and exhausted form, causing her to crumple over and seek into unconciousness. The gaurds, now free to deal with her as they saw fit, picked her up and carried her towards the Sultan's palace after binding her hands and feet.

By now her body was a complete and total mess, she was tired, dehydrated, bruised and battered. And to add to that her dreams were only more hellish. She found herself chained within a prison, bound to the dark and horrible will of the Goddess who tortured her for every moment. It felt worse than anything, to be a weak and worthless thing, tortured in such a way by a uncaring diety. She didn't even realize that the true nightmare would begin when she was awake, not in her dreams.

Thank you Wyn said smiling at the newspaper salesmen. Her face a little pale she couldn’t believe she had found him so soon. Excited, and yet nervous she turned around.

He stood, there looking at her with his paper in hand wearing, long shorts that went just bellow his knees. With a black shirt that covered his well, muscled chest. The coat he wore looked comfortable it was short and, looked like it was made of soft brown leather.

Wyn was suddenly aware of her own clothing and wondered what he must be thinking. Blushing she stepped forward. What am I going to say she thought, suddenly hitting on an idea. Holding her hand out to shake his she said. Hello... I am sorry to bother you, but my name is Wyn. I’ve just arrived in the city, and heard about you from a very reliable source, and was wondering if you had any job’s available? Ohh that was good Wyn she thought he’s going to think your some kind of mooch. Smiling she waited for him to respond.

Scytherin & Wyn

He smiled at her as she told him why she was looking for him. He looked her up and down with a normal face on. He took her hand and gently but firmly shook it with a smile. Well, its good to meet you Wyn, hopefully you know, I'm Scytherin. Well, um..this was very unexpected but, why don't you come back to my place and we can discuse things. He looked at what she was wearing and figured she was from some kind of renasance festival. Do you have a ride and know how to get to my house?

He had no idea what was going on, earlier he had spoken to a strange woman he had never met and now speaking with this woman, it was like he had known her for so long. He looked her over again and was beginning to wonder, why was she interested in what he does?

It's a pleasure to meet you Scytherin, and that would be fine with me. To awncer your question tho. No i am afraid i dont know where you live, and no i dont have a ride. She said slowly letting go of his hand.

Looking around she wondered how she was going to get there. She couldnt ask for a ride, and had no money for a cab. Well you do have two feet Wyn. Is there a time that would be better for us to meet? If you give me your adress i could meet you there. She asked her golden eyes flashing in the sunlight as she looked at him. Tossing the long braid of her black hair over her sholder.

Looking down as someone tugged on her robe and heard someone say "Miss, miss, please, I don't know who you are, but help me. This isn't my time. I don't... I don't know where I am." A shock ran thru Wyn she could tell that he was obviously scared. Excues me a moment Scytherin She said kneeling down to help the man who was tugging on her robe to his feet. Are you alright?? She asked the poor man looked culture shocked. Could he have been pulled thru time like she had?? My name is Wyn.. what is your's??

Avaline the Goddess and Valic...

Avaline looked over at Valic, she waved him towards her, “I know your not happy being up here with me, and if I could send you back I would, but alas you are stuck here for a while. Please just settle yourself and except it, I'll not hurt you.... unless you ask me to.”

Valic's jaw tensed before speaking, “Explain what is going on, and why you have allowed that woman,” he pointed to the image that Avaline kept up, of the individuals on Earth, that she was in charge of. “Why if that woman is supposed to help that one is she now chained?”

Avaline heard a chuckle from above, rolling her eyes, she mentally tells Zues to shut-up, this is soon followed by a loud clap of thunder. Sighing she thinks to herself, that the whole thunder bit was getting old. Looking at Valic, she said, “I'll explain everything again, as we watch.”

Avaline laid down on her belly, tucking her chin in her palms, her elbows rested on the cloud. Looking up she stared at Valic, “Look, I know it isn't the manly way to lie down, but humor me. Besides if you want to see what is happening you'll have to peer over the edge.” Her eyes widened, “Your not afraid of heights are you?”

Valic shot her a steely glare, “Put the images up here as you have before, I'll not lower myself to the ground like you.”

“Suit yourself,” Avaline sighed as an image was brought up inline with Valic's eyesight. As the two watched, she began to explain what was happening at that moment.

“If you look here,” she pointed. “We have Adian and Io. Adian thinks the image of me, was only that of a fan... this leads me to believe he is self-centered, and possibly not a match for our Io... I will keep that in mind.” Valic listened intently as Avaline continued. “See, a self-centered man, would only think of himself at that moment.. “Oh.. look at my adoring fans, I am soooo wonderful, so handsome, the women fall at my feet” that is what he was thinking. So a self-centered man.. well that just might not work for the lovely and kind Iolantha.”

Valic only raised his brow, so Avaline took that as a sign to continue. “Now, if you will see what happens next with Iolantha. She doesn't think... “Oh I'm so adoring and beautiful, the guards will just give me Aidan because of my beauty. No she begins to think, she uses her cunning and her gift of the elements, I'm quite impressed with her and she has shown me somewhat as to what man would suit her best.”

Avaline stood up and removed some of the little bits of cloudy fluff that hung on her dress. “Next we'll look at, “I'm not sure what to do with her. She wanders aimlessly around, as if she has no idea that a quest is a challenge and she has to look for you, granted she won't find you, but she doesn't know that, so I sent Michiko down to help her. This would have worked out wonderfully, however in a fit of insanity... or at least that is all I can call it, she tore of the lovely gown I had given her to cover her nakedness... I'm curious as to how she came across that kimono, because I sure the hell didn't give it to her, and I remember she was naked as the day she had been given life, because Richard's eyes about popped out of his head.” Fury could be seen in Avaline's eyes, as she continued. “If she had kept the gown I had given her on, then she would have easily be accepted into the Sultan's palace and anywhere throughout the city, but in her anger over being told to perform a favor, she tore apart the lovely thing I had given her. So she is being punished.”

“A bit harsh don't you think?” Valic spoke for the first time, since he had arrived on the cloud with Avaline. Her eyes widen and she smirked at him.

“Perhaps, but I see her suffering sparks your interest, so perhaps this is a good thing, besides she wants to be a Samuri... and only the strong and wise can be those, so she either find a way out of this or die. No Samuri that is weak is a good one.”

As Avaline finished her sentence a great wind came upon her and Valic. It tossed her hair around her face and billowed against her dress. The greatest claps of thunder she had ever heard rang in her ears and lightning flashed all around her. Valic stood there in awe as the clouds surrounding Avaline's home began to darken to black and the air suddenly became cold. Valic soon began to shiver, then he seemed to be incased in warmth as he watched the beautiful Avaline, tremble in the freezing wind. She looked up into the sky, clasped her hands together and began to speak to some figure that Valic couldn't see. He knew she had been a witch, and now he was witnessing it, for himself. He heard her voice, cry out in pain and then soften in apology.

“Zues... stop this. I won't let her die. You agreed she needed punished.” Avaline nodded her head, and her shoulders slumped. “No... I won't let her die, and I'll help Ciara, but Zues the sisters have.... yes Zues, I'll take care of it. I will send the Samurai someone to help her, but then if she chooses not to be helped, is it out of my hands then?” She got no answer and soon her beautiful fluffy white home was returned to normal as well Valic's state of clothing. “Zues figures you'd like your clothes back.” Valic cocked an eye at her.

“A Goddess huh?” he asked.

“Yep.. and one that just got yelled at,” blowing her hair from her eyes she ignored the chuckle that came from her cloud guest. “Where were we?”

“Ciara and Michiko,” he answered her.

“Oh.. how could I forget,” growling lightly she asked Valic to stay put while she visited Ciara.

Goddess ~ Ciara ~ a foreign planet

astralkiss said:
Ciara wandered the streets of the planet aimlessly, not seeing a person that she remotely recognized or anything that could help her.

Avaline waited as Ciara came into view and then swiftly pulled her into the alley way, between two buildings. She looked into the eyes of the woman, "Are you not evening trying to find Valic? Do you think you can just wander up and down the steet and he will appear to you? Do you think this is a joke; that you can just watch what happens and not do anything? That your mate will fall at your feet? That your quest will end and everything will be wonderful and simple?"

Avaline felt her anger begin to boil, but remembering Zues' anger she ungripped the woman's arm. "I was called down and asked to give you your mates... and in exchange I sent you on a quest... and I told you it wouldn't be simple. You have so far not even attempted anything but look sad and miserable and lost and alone and weak... I dispise women who portray such weakness.... so as they say on Earth, "Suck it up and get back to work."

As she continued to berate the young woman, she thought she saw a flicker of shock, then a slow burning ember of anger, "You have another job now, a woman much stronger then you and more powerful then you, came here to seek you out and to help you! In her journey, she became weak from the desert sun, searching for you, while you took your time strolling through the city. Now she is chained in the Sultan's dungeons... You will now have to save her!"

Ciara's jaw dropped, Avaline held up her hand to stop her from saying anything, "Since you are so helpless and feeble or at least you seem to want to betray yourself that way. I'll help you this one time... you will have my protection and you will be able to convince the guards to let you reach her... however you will still have to save her and minister to her here on this planet."

Avaline moved away from Ciara and turned to leave, "You disappoint me and by doing that you have shown me your character... thus, I will have to rethink the man for you. Save Michiko for her life now lies in your hands... and if she dies.. it is her blood that you will see everyday when you look upon them and no amount of washing will wipe away the stains."

With a sudden gust of wind, that stirred the dust, Avaline disappeared.

Alexandria~Dale~ 1806

I'm an idiot! That is my only thought as I can't seem to take my eyes of the man who is now pressing his lips to my hand. Our eyes are locked together and even after the kiss is over I can feel a warm tingle upon skin that he kissed.

"Alexandria," I reply warmly.

He is charming! He is kind! He is handsome, sexy, gorgeous, masculine! He is dirty! I quickly restrain myself from growing instantly attached to the man. With my attitude toward the Goddess I am not sure she won't strike him with a bolt of lightning just to get back at me! Although . . . I doubt she works like that.

"So . . . You are Dale?" I ask mindlessly and quickly grimace as it dawns on me that he had already said as much. "Sorry," I tell him, annoyed with myself.

"I'm going to rapid-fire questions at you and, please, answer truthfully and with the best of your abilities. I swear to you now that I am not insane. I was told by the Goddess to seek you out. Why? I am not sure. Have you met the Goddess by chance? Do you know who the Shanghai Star Crossed Lovers are? Don't you raise cattle on a ranch? Or is it horses you raise? I am confused right now, sorry. Also, does . . . John always act so-so-so moronically?"

Once more my childish hissing noise gets the best of me and I wonder what a sight I must be. A woman in a ritualistic dress the billows around me when ever the wind decides to play. My kinky red hair a mess from previously diving over the bed.

"I blunt by nature, so please, pardon me. I must ask though, would you spare me a small meal? I have not eaten in quite some time." Seemingly to emphasize my point my stomach delicately growls and I blush.

Almost shamefully I add belatedly, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Dale."

Richard the Mark~Back to the Future

"Get off of me!"

Richard looked up at her, confusion rampant in his eyes, "Please, you're my only hope."

"Creep!!! Help!!! Get..."

She kicked him, good and hard, he fell back onto his ass, looking up at her with wild amazement. She had a fiery resistance about her that any other time might have been sexy. Hell, who was he kidding, it was sexy right now.

"I just... thought you were, someone I'm supposed to meet. You have those robes, and you looked..."

Richard got to his feet. The woman took a step back, "Freek. I'm just in these robes cause I'm going to a Harry Potter convention. Now, if you'll excuse me."

Harry Potter? Was this some sort of Lord in the city, having a fancy ball? Maybe Richard should attend, he might be able to see Wyn and Scytherin there. They would be at the ball of the lord Harry Potter, wouldn't he?

"Who's... Who's Harry Potter?"

She threw a disgusting look back at him before disappearing among the crowd of people walking up and down the streets. Several other people either gave him sneers or looked down their noses when he asked this. That just gave further proof that this Harry Potter held some power and recognition in this time. He must be a brave and mighty leader.

Now, there was no one though. He had thought it would be so easy, just to go to this woman and be saved. Saved from this horrible time. The future... he didn't like the future. Too much noise, and the smell. He hadn't noticed it from the beginning, but the smell of the place was just bad. Nothing specific, it was as if the air itself just had a bad tint. Too much metal, metal everywhere. Sticking out of the ground, riding along the streets, in people's noses and ears. It was just everywhere.

"You sure do look worse for the wear, sugar."

Richard turned around, looking down at this cute little girl, couldn't be a day older than 18 or 19. She has bubble gum hair, wavy around her, with piercing green eyes, and wore even less than most other people wore. Short shorts, and a top that made him see part of her breasts. For a moment he just stood there, looking at her. His eyes fixed on certain curves of her body he had rarely seen in daylight before.

"Careful now, looking's free, but not everything else is." She winked at him.

"I'm sorry, milady," He said, bowing his head. Crimson kissed his cheeks, as he smiled at the concrete, "I just... this is all so new to me. I don't know what to do."

"Oh, that's fine, sugar. I do, I'll take care of everything. My name's Avy."

Avy? Avaline? The goddess? "Goddess?"

She giggled, taking him in his arm, "Sure thing. Come on. How much you got?"

Richard followed her. The people seemed to part with them as they went down the street. He seemed so much better in someone's capable arms. The goddess would help him. Sure she would.

"I kept the silver token," He dug it out of his jeans. She took a look at it, and then shook her head.

"No, sweetheart, I need cash. We can't do this with a trading system. I'm not a pawn shop."

"Oh... right," He had no clue what that mean, but searched through his pockets. A distant thought came to him, wondering why a goddess who could do just about anything would need money, but it escaped him when he put her arm around him. So safe and secure. All doubts melted away.

He pulled out the small wad of cash, and his small piece of plastic card.

"Oh, credit?" He waved the cash away, and took the card, "That'll do. Come on."

They stopped at a small inlet from the buildings. It held a video screen with several digital outputs on it. Richard looked at it as he had everything else, with odd and fearful curiousity. She seemed to know what she was doing though, and swiped the card. She was the goddess, after all.

"Ok, gonna need your pin, hun."

"Pin?" Richard checked his pockets again, he had no pin to give her. He didn't have a needle or scissors or anything.

"Your password, what's your number?"

Richard only had one number he ever kept close to himself, "Seven." It was a strong number, holy and sacred. He used it as often as he could. Juggling seven balls, or singing seven songs before he broke. The story of Seven lights, Seven days of trial for Bisham. Yes, seven was his number.

She gave him a funny look, then typed in 0 0 0 7. The account came on, showing a substantial amount of money.

"My god, sugar. We have hit the jackpot, haven't we? Now, what do you want to do?"

"I want to find Wyn and Scytherin. I have to woo her. You told me that."

"Did I now? Hee hee, ok. We can find your friends, but we can have a little fun first, can't we?"

The goddess said to be quick, but then again, having her stand here next to him, he was sure that could be amended, "Sure. We have time for something quick."

Her eyes lit up, "Something quick? Good. No anal, I don't do that. We use a condom, just for safety's sake. Hmmm, how about a nice blowjob, and then some good old doggie style. You up for that sugar?"

All those weird words. Richard didn't understand any of them. But, she looked so happy as she said them, and glanced at him with wild wonderful eyes. Richard nodded, a broad smile on his face.

"Sure."

"There we go," he saw the numbers on the screen decrease significantly. Had he any knowledge in the subject, he would know he was being screwed. But since, it wasn't his money in the first place, it was still a pretty good deal. She took out a card of her own, swiped it, and the small number in her account increased the same way.

"Good," She put her arm around him, resting her head on his shoulders, "Come on sweetie, I have just the place."

Richard walked down the street with his goddess, finally feeling a little better about the future.

He watched her and shrugged. It was just a homeless man, he was always by the newspaper stand. He looked at her with a smirk. I guess she doesn't get out much. He though, Scytherin shrugged and went over to his bike and looked back at her then at the bike and figured, oh, what the hell. Hey, if you'd like, I can give you a ride to my home now. That is, if your not busy right now.

He shrugged and out of the back seat area, he pulled out a helmet for her and set it on the bike for her. This was beginnign to be alittle strange for him, to many odd thigns were happening today. He felt in his back pocket for the disk and felt it, he thought about the woman then her, he recaleld what she said but it didn't relate to any of this, he shrugged it all of to the sound of Wyn's voice.

Raven & Ben~ 1983

Raven's eyes widened as he said his name was "Ben"....thinking as her head began to

spin...could it be that he was the one...no way...it could not be that easy ..could it?....

Looking at Ben as comes over to the now empty stool beside her ..he pays for the drinks

....she can't help but stare at this well toned and very strikingly handsome man ...she

watches him as she notices him staring at her as well......feeling somewhat tongue tied she realizes that he has spoken again at her and smiles...

"So, Raven since you are new around here, just where does a beautiful lady like yourself originate?"

"Trust me ...you wouldn't believe me if I told you...but I may have to do just that...thank you for the drink...may I say... here's to adventure and goddesses"

..she raises her glass to his and as she looks into his dark eyes she cannot believe what depth they have.
As they settle into a seeming staring standoff amidst smiles and nervousness...she takes a deep breath and blurts out in a rush hoping that he doesn't think her insane or worse...

"I am from the future..I have come in search of a man named Ben..."
~pausing she takes a deep sip of her drink still looking at him not seeing what he must be thinking she continues~

"I am on a sort of quest and this "Ben" is to help me...the goddess has given him something to help me to go back and forth in time to find my sisters and I need him to complete this quest and oh...you must think me completely mad..but ...now you say your name is Ben and I am not sure if you are the one that I seek or not and ..oh damn...I am making a fool of myself aren't I?

Looking into his eyes she is calmed a little...she reaches her hand out to touch his and she whispers...[
I]"I really am not crazy..you must believe that"[/I]

Goddess Avaline.. and Valic... cloud county

Avaline returns to Valic's side, “Miss me?” she asked, her eyes shining with humor.

“No,” he glanced back at her, his face fixed fixed on the screen. He smirked as he heard her sound of frustration. Valic had found he enjoyed riling the Goddess and he wondered what else he could do to upset her mischievous plans for the people below.

She walked over and stood by his side, “Where we're we... ahhhh yes, I was explaining what was going on.” Avlaine settled beside Valic and pointed out Alexandria and Dale.

“I had thought of this woman for you immediately, there was this fire, this spark, this.... what is the word the human's use...Ahhh, yes... this bitchy attitude, it would have gone great with your man is mightier then the sword one you have. This woman complains and whines about how her man must be the perfect man, no flaws and look... there she is full of her own flaws. I hope Dale, that is the man there, the one she is staring at.” Avaline pointed out the man, that had just kissed Alexandria's hand.

“Let's listen and see if you can determine if these two are well suited.” Aavaline and Valic listened closely as the couple conversed.

After a few seconds, Avaline looked at Valic, “See,” she said. “Alex, hmmm.. yes I'll call her that, for the name Alexandria represents kindness and compassion, Alex represents this overly bearing male attitude she seems to possess. Anywho... notice she praised him for his looks and his body... but in one flaw... one easily removed after his bi-yearly bath.. he would be perfect.” Sighing her head, and looking to Valic once more, “No.... this man won't do... he is to perfect for her. Once he baths she'll want him, because of his body and his looks... so this won't work. Later I'll move them.”

Valic looked at Avaline, “Why do you torment them so?”

“Because I can.” Avaline stated the cold hard truth, “They ask for something, that would have been easy to find if they just would have taken a few flaws with the package, now.... I will teach them, that yes... a perfect mate is possible, but only because the two people agree the other is perfect.”

“I think you like the power.”

Raising one shoulder, she shrugged, “Perhaps. Now on to Richard, it seems he has found a friend.”

Avaline leaned in closer to the image of Richard and the scantly clad woman, suddenly her face flushed and she buried her head in her hands. Valic could be heard laughing and it only grew louder as the woman Avy... who Richard thought was the Goddess Avaline, began to do things to the Minstrel/Knight that Avaline had not done herself in a few hundred years. “Looks like you are enjoying yourself down there Goddess.”

She glared at Valic, and went to swirl her traveling mist, to descend on the two, suddenly a great boom was heard and Avaline looked up once more into the clouds above, “Put a stop to that ... that... well you know!!!” She screamed and raised a fist at Zues. “What???” Her jaw dropped, “What do you mean I can't interfere.. he thinks ..... he thinks that she is me and he and I are.... ohhhhh grrrrr.” Avaline went away from the image, but Zues refused to allow her to close off the sounds of the couple. “I'll set things right when I haul his singing minstrel, sword raising ass up here.”

“Goddess what about the others?” Valic asked his eyes full of humor as he watched the frustrated woman, cover her ears, trying to drown out the sounds of Richard and Avy below. Valic chuckled then mentally asked the man in the clouds that Avaline always talked to, “Could you clear away the image and the noise for me?” Then Valic's eyes widened as he heard what sounded like a warm chuckle.... and he was left standing on a cloud, looking at a beautiful Goddess, with a face as red as an apple. The cloud he rode upon, was filled with the melodious sounds of the man Richard and the woman Avy, learning a little bit about each other. Groaning he sat down at the edge of the cloud away from the image, but not away from the noise.
