Scytherin, Wyn, Richard

Marcus2 said:
When he reopened his eyes, everything was hazy but everything soon cleared up and he found himself, staring up at the cave ceiling.

Wyn watched stunned, and worried as Richard fought the beast, and started to fly, she new he would need healed, and when the time came she was ready. She wanted to go and help him fight , but new that she couldnt for it was his quest to fight the monster. Turning to look at Scytherin she watched as he fell to the cave floor unconsious.

Running over to his side she knelt down beside him, and begain looking for wounds but the only thing she was receving from him was fear and confusion. Leaning forward she saw him open his eyes. Scytherin are you alright? What happened?

Ed and Ra in Ka, 29

Eddie was impressed at the hotel. It looked incredible. He admitted that Raven had certainly gone above and beyond.

"Ok, we have a home cooked dinner. I make this wonderful pasta," Eddie started getting ingrediants out, flour and eggs, some cilantro, sausage, cream and other things.

"Now, here are flowers, carnations. These are for you, I just thought you should have some flowers.

"And, the gift. The one thing you've been waiting for," Eddie pulled out one of those deluxe samplers of chocolates. Chocolates from around the world, it claimed. Every kind inside, dark and light, german chocolate, ones with cherries, ones with coconuts. Anything and everything for the "goddess" in all of us.

"That's what she wants, trust me." Eddie said, taking out candles and putting them around the room.

"Ok... we're all set. We've got hours before dinner, and the date. I don't have to start cooking for awhile... so now it's just you and me here, alone."

Eddie moved closer to her, his smile grew warm at the sight of her.

"Guess we'll have to find something to do."

Raven and Eddie ~ 1929 ~ Wichita

I could see he was happy with the choice of rooms that I had found...his smile as warm as before and never failed to warm her and make her smile as well. Being quite impressed that he cooked as well and the pasta meal he described was sounding so good...her mouth watered as she realized she hadn't eaten eat at all...just that wee bit of lemonaid earlier.

Raven blushed as he handed her the flowers. They were her favorite above
roses..the sweet spicy smell she inhaled deeply ..looking at him as he continued his show and tell of his purchases and their plan.

Seeing his gift for the goddess...chocolates....she was a little hesitant and yet he assured her this is what she wants...she watched as he started placing candles about the room seeting up an atmoshere like no other she had seen any man do....and she was still yet a stranger to him.

Still holding the flowers near her face inhaling their rich smell...his words
soothed her....all but one..."date"....did she miss something...what did he mean date?....Now she was getting a little more than a tiny bit confused....was she and him having this..."date"?...Oh man...if only she could recall all what he had said to her today...but she was too engrossed in that smile of his...the one that made her knees tremble.

As he moved closer to her smiling ...at her...she was almost lost again in its
killer grasp and yet she wanted to be and ...oh man....she took a deep breath and looked at him smiling softly at his attetion to this whole plan and to helping her with it...such a genuine character.

"Since we have some time...would it be okay with you if I took a shower...I mean...I would like to change as well and well...since it is a "date"...I would like to dress the part...you know?"

I had forgotten to get some shampoo...I knew there was something else.
"Eddie...do you mind if I popped out for a bit to pick up something else...I had
forgotten it earlier in my rush to get back to find you?...I wont be long I promise
"

Handing him the flowers she turns and walks quickly to the door and leaves. Once in the Hallway ...she stops and hopes he doesnt mind ...her leaving so
abruptly...but a girl needs shampoo and the way he looked at her just now...made her think that more than just dinner was on the menu for tonight. Swallowing hard, she sighed...walking slowly down the hallway....faintly hearing and feeling the thoughts behind the other room doors.

Coming closer to the one door...she felt something very strong coming from
within ....something familiar and yet...not.....great sadness and loneliness...and much pain.....she sighed and placed her hand upon the door gently...feeling its inhabitant a woman...alone....feeling lost.....she looked at the door...wanting to knock and ask if perhaps she wanted to join her and Eddie...to share a meal...so as not to be alone...Looking back at the room from where she came..maybe she should ask Eddie if it wouldf be alright and yet...seeing how he was so far thinking he probably wouldn't mind at all...he was so very kind.
Raising her hand to knock...her knuckles rap on the door.
As the door opened finally...the woman standing before her in a nurses uniform was breath taking...absolutely beautiful. A little tongue tied...Raven finally manages to find her voice ..
"Pardon me Miss...I was wondering if you would like to join me and my dear friend for dinner? It is better than dining alone and if you are up for it I
would love to have you join us?...What do you say
?"

...With that she smiled her warmest smile...and sought to send her only warm
friendly feelings from her in which to put her at ease...this poor nurse looked so dreadfully tired...she wanted to ease some of that.

Avaline ~ Raven ~ Eddie 1929

Avaline looked into the eyes of one of Raven, and knew that she had been to weak to block her thoughts from the woman's gift. She smiled at her offer, and found herself longing for company. Soon she was nodding her head yes, and wanting to just spend time with someone, anyone at that moment.

Lily's call into time had further weakened her, as had the pull of the pen that Hetta had used earlier. She smoothed back her hair, and asked the woman, if she could change, and if she would like to come inside, and wait, or if she would rather, she come over at a certain time.

"Oh, how rude of me," she said quietly. "My name is Lynn." She extended her hand, and tried to smile at this sister. Avaline realized that this would be an opportunity for her to interact with the young couple, and see how they worked together.

"Is there anything I could bring over to help with your dinner? Anything you may need?"

Michiko - 2005

Michiko continued to read the book, but she had the strangest sensation that Lily was close by. Very close by. It was then that it hit her. She had to be inside the book! But how could Michiko get inside of a book? There had to be some way...

She took a long time concentrating, staring at the book, focusing all her thoughts on entering it. She suddenly felt strange, as though she wasn't all there. It was then that she realized the book was getting closer, bigger, or was she getting smaller. The pages opened and she flew in as the cover closed.

The whole experience was frightening but then, what wasn't when it concerned the machinations of the deceitful Goddess? When she regained conciousness, she found herself on a road headed towards the market, holding onto a cow. This was all how the story went, wasn't it? If Lily was here, she'd find her by finishing the story, at least, she hoped that was how it worked.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Michiko finally decided to ride the cow after her feet started to get soar. She closed her eyes, resting as the cow continued along it's path towards the market until a voice caught her attention. "Good morning."

Michiko looked to a Butcher who's shop was outside the market, nodding her head, "Good morning."

"Where are you going?" said the butcher.

"I am going to market to sell the cow."

"It's lucky I met you," said the butcher. "You may save yourself the trouble of going so far."

With this, he put his hand in his pocket, and pulled out five curious-looking beans. "What do you call these?" he said.

"Beans," Michiko answered.

"Yes," said he, "beans, but they're the most wonderful beans that ever were known. If you plant them overnight, by the next morning they'll grow up and reach the sky. But to save you the trouble of going all the way to market, I don't mind exchanging them for that cow of yours."

"It is a deal then, sir."

----------------------------------------------------

Michiko headed to a quiet place, holding the beans in her hand. She then knelt down, digging a hole with her hands before planting the beans in it. She find a bucket of water along the way, using it to water the beans before resting. Going to sleep and hoping that it would work, sooner or later.

When she finally woke up, what was she to find? A giant beanstalk of course, reaching all the way up into the clouds. She sighed, grabbing ahold of the stalk and beginning her climb up it. Up and up and up until the base of the stalk was nothing more then a speck.

When she reached the top, she found herself in a beautiful country. Ahead of her was a huge castle with a broad road leading up to the main gate. But Michiko didn't have time to notice when a lovely maiden appeared before her, saying, "Good Morning."

"Good morning, ma'am," Michiko looked at her with dark, dour, eyes, waiting patiently.

"The woman you seek is within the giant's castle. But I warn you, it will be dangerous, you will need this," And she held out a sword, well made but not extravagant.

"I know, and thank you," She took the sword, turning and heading down the road towards the enormous castle. She wasn't sure what good a sword would do against a giant, but it was better then nothing. Michiko looked up at the sky, glaring, "I hope you are watching me, Avaline. This may be my fault, but I won't let you torment her, I've caused her this pain and I will atone with my blood if that is what it takes."

"This may all be a trap, and you've been controlling me from the start. But I know that the only way I will escape the torment of all this is to go home. I know you won't let me, but I'll fight to get back. Lily deserves someone better then me, I am worthless, and I am fickle. But I won't let you use your power to please yourself by hurting others. You are evil, and I won't allow my friends to be harmed."

She sighed heavily, "I thought I cared about you Avaline, but you may have tricked me then too, or it was me being fickle. Kill me if you want, either way I'll escape."

~Raven and Eddie ....and Avaline ~1929~ Wichita

Watching as the beautiful lady nodded yes to her offer...Raven couldn't help but smile warmly at her.

"Well...I needed to run to the store to get a few things...for myself.. I didn't pack very well. I completely forgot all of my toiletries...shampoo and the lot...so...I was hoping I could make it to a store before they close...I am new here ...not sure of the store hours in these parts."

"Nice to meet you Lynn...my name is Raven...it is a pleasure." ...shaking her hand gently. "I am not sure if we need anything"...laughing softly...

"My dear friend seems to have everything under control...or so it seems...I have my wee little doubts though." ... "and seeing that we are just down the hallway...well, should we find ourselves lacking...you may be able to help...how is that?"

"Otherwise, just your company would be more than enough of an offering for us"

Wondering if she should just go to the store and come back...or if she should go in and wait...Raven stood there ...not able to find the right words to say to Lynn. Getting the feeling that she should wait ...she asked, "Would you like me to wait and then maybe we can go back to my place together?"

Avaline ~ Raven ~ Eddie 1929

Avaline smiled, and held the door open, inviting the woman inside. "Please allow me to give you what you need. I am an exaggeranted packer when it comes to packing everything, and I often pack different varieties and scents for I don't know what I will want most."

She felt Raven move into her room, and wait patiently inside while Avaline moved to the closet, pretending to look for something to change into. Suddenly a simple dress of white appeared in her hands, and she pulled it from the depths of the closet, before bringing it out into the room.

"I'll change, and bring you a plush amout of the things you seek." Avaline knew she was getting the words of the mortal language tangled, but she would do her best, and try and seek the right things to say. Her mind was weak from the pull of the last trip, as well as other things that were affecting her.

Inside the bathroom, she changed with a flick of her wrist, and then conjured up three bottles of everything that a mortal might wish to bring on a trip. Placing them in a basket, she had used her powers to form. Its white weaved wicker seemed to sparkle in the lights of the bathroom, and it would keep the items full until they were no longer needed.

"Here you go," she announced as she left the bathroom, and rejoined Raven. She gave her the bag, and smiled. "It has a variety of small sample products. Shampoos, smell stuff.. umm deoderant, and several little travel toothbrushes and toothpastes. I also through in mouth cleanser you wash with." She smiled widely, and hoped that Raven had all she needed.

Lily the Golden Harp

Lily blew her frozen gold hair from her face, and sighed. She had spent more hours singing and now she found herself, being placed along side that damn goose. His honking had been driving her crazy since that Giant had brought it out. Granted it was cool to watch it lay a golden egg, "Shit, I could use you at home."

She laughed, "But knowing my assinine brother he'd cook you!"

The white creature honked in anger and let loose a stream of golden eggs. "Oh fuck, don't be doing that, he'll have me being mean to you, and then you'll never get a break!"

The goose understood and settled its wings back to its sides. "Hey, bird," Lily asked, "you know no one knows if your a girl or a boy, your just called The Goose that lays the Golden Eggs. Wouldn't you want the world to know your name?" The animal just looked at her, as if she were a boring gold harp, which she was, and then it closed its eyes, and slept.

"Pfft," Lily sighed, then felt herself being pinched and lifted up and placed on the mantle of the huge fireplace. "Oh, I really hate high places, Giant friend."

"SING! TIRED!"

"No shit I'm tired, and I don't wa..." she didn't finish the words, before she was spewing the lullabyes of babes, and playing the soft quiet music of the sandman. Hours went by and Lily continued to strum away, thinking how mean Avaline was, and how she only wanted to get back to the real world, and get hitched so Michiko could go back to Japan and be released from her tormenting life that Avaline had cast upon her.

His facial expression seemd to look like he had seen a ghost. He was pale and sweat was covering his face. Wa...What happened? Is the beast gone? he asked, looking around but sadly, seeing the create fighting Richard. He sighed and looked down but then he remembered what he saw, it had been very weird and he wondered, what it all meant and why it had to do with him...

Raven ~ Avaline...and Eddie ~1929 ~ Wichita

Raven smiled as she was ushered into the room by Lynn. She started to protest about being given the things that she needed and was gently reassured that it was fine by the soft spoken Lynn.

She waited as Lynn went to another room and changed. Looking around...the room was quite stark of color...of life almost ....it seemed so lonely and sad. Raven was glad that she was able to maybe make someone a little bit less lonely...a laugh or smile or just have a little bit of fun for a little while.

Lynn re-entered the room carrying a bag with a lovely basket filled with the things that she needed...she giggled and thanked her over and over again...saying what a life saver she was in being so kind ....in helping her in this way...reaching for the bag their hands touched....she felt the sorrow from her strongly...the exhaustion....the frustration...not sure what possessed her she leaned in and gave her a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek...patting her back gently she whispered quietly...

"You will be fine ...your wonderful"

Looking at Lynn....she asked, "So, are we ready to see what my friend has cooked up for us...he says he makes a mean pasta dish" ...giggling softly she took hold of Lynn's soft warm hand and made for the door.

Avaline smiled at the warmth of the hug, and the friendly kiss. When was the last time, someone had been her friend, and not wanted something in return. She had no clue, even her love in the end had taken her child from her, and gave her nothing but their death to deal with.

With a smile, and a small sense of peace she followed Raven through the halls of the hotel, until they reached the doors of what she assumed was Raven and Eddie's room. Eddie had never seen her, so she had no worries that he would know of her, Raven had not been able to sense her, but she still did her best to become a normal woman being invited to share an evening with other beings.

"I hope your friend doesn't mind me coming here." She looked to Raven, and smiled softly.

Raven ~Avaline ~Eddie ~1929 ~Wichita

Walking with Lynn down the halls towards her and Eddie's rooms...she felt the little bit of peace that came over Lynn. She smiled and as they reached her room she was glad she had invited her to come back with her.

"I hope your friend doesn't mind me coming here."

Placing her hand on Lynn's arm, she reassured her,"Oh I think it will be more than fine...I think he will be very happy and he is very sweet and helpful so it shouldn't be a problem at all....please don't worry...there is no need to"

Raven felt Lynn relax a little bit more and smiled warmly back at her...she was very nice and she liked her alot already. She felt this would be very good for all of them...nice meal...good company...relaxing for them all.

Opening the door to the room...Raven called out as she took Lynn's hand in hers and guiding her into the room, "Eddie....Eddie....guess what I brought back with me?"

Avaline realized the moment she stepped into the room, that her life was empty. The rooms were the same as far as furnishing went, but even without all the extras that the couple had put into the evening, the room radiated warmth.

"Oh, I don't believe I should be here. It looks like he has prepared something intimite, and I don't want to intrude on something special he has planned."

She gazed over the obvious care that the couple were showing to each other, and she smiled at Raven. "This is very kind of you, and I really don't want to ruin plans he may have for you."

With a sigh she waited for the young man to see her, and tell her to leave, or at least show his disappointment.

I was hoping you could tell me what happend you started convlsing and dropped to the floor passed out cold.. Are you alright you dont look very good? Wyn asked worried, her expression showing as much as she helped him to sit up, so that he wasnt laying on the cold floor and put another log on the fire that had started burning low.

Looking around Wyn could see that the eskimo people were looking at her as tho she were strange and she couldnt blame them in the least. Not manny could heal the way she did. Glancing outside she could see Richard still fighting the monster, and hopped that he would sucseed, she couldnt see how badly he was injured from where they were but she new he would need her to heal soon.

Turning back to Scytherin she noticed that some of the color had come back into his cheeks but not much he still looked as tho he had seen a gost. Taking the blanket that Richard had given her Wyn walked over to Scytherin and layed it on his sholders sitting next to him and said. I am here Scytherin... Do you want to talk about it??

He looked over at Richard and then began to wonder, if that was the monster. The black fog could've been it but he was unsure. He gulped and looked up at her. Something's coming...I can't explain it but...we're not safe here... He told her, he could feel it. He then realized, that the monster Richard was fighting, was not the thing he saw in his vision. It was as if doom was following them and coming for them, yet in his mind, he knew there would be a time when it would find them. But until then, he didn't know what to do.

"Sorry Zeus," He said, spitting on it, "Not this time. She loves me too much. She gave me this gift... these gifts, and I'll use them with whatever you want to throw at me."

Hetta chuckled and Zues said nothing to her to quiet her musings. He had heard the mortals words, and he acknowledge that he had dealt with the creature very well. He lifted the protective barrier from the people, allowing the woman Wyn to help Richard with whatever needs he may have had. The other man seemed to be weakened and Zues kept an eye on him, curious as to what game he was playing.

"What next, my love?" Hetta asked him.

"I will allow him a night or two with the eskimo people. Perhaps they will harvest whales for them, or something, to help ease their discomfort before I move him and the others again."

Hetta nodded her head in agreement then added, "He did deal with that one swiftly didn't he?"

"Yes, quite surprised me he did. I expected him to at least almost die, or something, would have been more entertaining."

Hetta rolled her eyes, "He's not immortal yet love."

"No not yet, and if he continues on the path he was considering earlier, neither will our Avaline be."

With a heavy heart, Hetta agreed. "She is feeling very low right now, she felt the first inscription of her name."

"I know she did, all do when their name is added, at least the incident had been small."

"Yes," Hetta heard herself agreeing again. "I hope no more indescretions occur."

Zues turned back to Avaline and saw her watching Raven and waiting for the man Eddie to acknowledge her. "We will abide by the laws, and if the next indescretion is minor only another letter will be placed, but if it is a large one, then two letters will be given toward the book."

He watched as he saw what was transpiring in the little hotel room of 1929 Wichita, Kansas. "I do believe they've got it."

Hetta grinned, "I hope so, but we'll see what happens next. Do you think they have a clue as to what her gifts should be?"

Zues shrugged, "I do believe they are trying something down there, and it is about time. How are the others?"

"The same," she sighed.

"All right," he muttered then returned to his studies. "I'll not deal with them, unless they bring her harm."

"And Richard's quests?"

"Soon... let him help the eskimos with the hunt and harvest."

"Come here," Eddie grabbed Lynn by the arm, and had her in the kitchen before she could turn around. He stood there beside her, winking.

"Shhh, don't say a word," His finger pressed lightly on her lips, and a daring smile was already on his own. He was cooking, and it looked like a war zone in here. Things were boiling and simmering. Vegetables were half chopped, some still wet from the store. Seasoning sprawled on evey surface, mostly spilled.

There was a white sauce, light and airy cooking. Eddie grabbed a spoon, stirred in a little bit, and then took out just enough for her to try. A small blow from his lips, and then he brought it to Lynn's mouth.

"One taste," he said, eyeing her carefully, "And you'll be in heaven. I promise."

He asked Raven to come in, and try it as well.

"It's an alfredo sauce, old family recipe. With susage and oregano, brown sugar and just a touch of cilantro. You can never be too careful with the cilantro."

Eddie was proud of his two taste testers, and swelled with pride and anticipation.

"So... how is it?"

celebration over Richard's conquest? hello!!! Greenland???

The eskimo's started cheering as they ran from the cave, dancing around the fallen beast before them. Warm blood still melted the snow around it.

Richard paused over by Wyn as she knelt down at Scythering.

"What's wrong, the monster didn't get him, did he?"

He looked all right. Richard didn't quite understand it, he didn't see Scytherin try to help him out, or fight the monster... even get by the thing. As far as Richard knew, the abominable snowman was after him and him alone.

"I don't know if I can help much. This... this really isn't my thing."

Raven ~ Avaline ~ Eddie...~1929~

Eddie rushed towards them from the kitchen and took them by surprise...as he lead Lynn to the kitchen ..Raven couldn't help but smile as she figured he would be fine with her inviting someone back to have dinner with them.

Standing beside Lynn and watching as Eddie raised a spoon of the heavenly smelling sauce and letting Lynn taste it she giggled softly watching him look so proud and including their new friend to taste of his cooking prowess.

Leaning towards Lynn she whispered.."See...I told you it would be fine...how is the sauce?"

Avaline smiled at the young couple. "It is quite nice thank you." She was truly touched by their kindness to her, and she began to feel better about the evening. She was destined to spend her life alone if Richard failed, and it looked that he was all ready to begin to. Her body had taken longer to become strong again, but here at this moment, she realized she had something more precious then anything else.

Touching Raven's hand, she looked deeply into her eyes. "Thank you Raven for your gift, your Goddess is extremely please." With those simple words Avaline transformed into her true self, and sent thoughts to Eddie to rest his mind, and calm any fears he had.

"Raven, it isn't perfection one seeks only compassion, and you have given a stranger compassion. Your gift is the greatest one that Zues has asked of you and your perfect mate is the one you were able to show compassion with."

She turned to Eddie no longer in a spell, but she felt she had to set his mind at ease further, "I do not control your actions, and you are free to return to your home in Boston, but now this; if you faulter in your love for the woman that you have in your heart, even if you do not see it right away, you'll live a miserable life. Not because I deem it, but because she is who your meant to be with."

Avaline kissed Raven's cheek and stroked her hair, "Enjoy you supper love, and take time to stop and when you think he isn't perfect, remember perfection would be boring. I must go now, for not all the sisters will give compassion, nor will it be needed some quests are even harder then this."

She swept her arm over her face and settled into her cloud waiting for Zues' arrival.

Zues ~ Avaline ~ Avaline's clouds

Zues had seen it and he was smiling wide when he greeted the lovely Goddess. "Seems one finally figured it out didn't they."

She smile wistfully back, "Yes it does seem that way. What do you think they will do next?"

Zues cocked his head to one side, "I wonder if they even know themselves perhaps in the morning you should go down and see if they wish to help the other sisters in their quests. They couldn't tell them what they discovered, but they could at least be their supporting them or even causing strife to make it more difficult."

Avaline nodded her head, "I will allow them to settle into the evening and possibly another day. I to wonder where they will go now. Will Raven wish to stay in 1929 or will she convince Eddie to travel to 2005? There are many things there that are similar to 1929, but still so very different. Everything is faster."

Zues agreed with her, and then changed the subject. "How are you?"

"I felt it."

"I know, and I wish it hadn't had to be done."

"I know."

He touched her cheek, and caressed her skin, "If I didn't love my Hetta, I'd be the first to help ease you from your payment." He kissed her fair skin, and stroked her hair. "He still could be the one, my sweet."

Avaline felt the tear coarse down her cheek.

Zues wiped it away, and dropped the newly formed tear-dropped diamond down from the clouds where it lie nestled in the snows of Greenland. He looked away, and then back toward the broken Goddess. "It was only your first letter, love... and he defeated the creature quickly. I'll be setting up his new quest soon."

He kissed her lips, and left, returning to his throne, to await the arrival of his beautiful wife, who he now needed with a raging passion.

Wyn smiled as the Eskamos cheared knowing that Richard was sucsessful. Wyn watched him as he joined them Scytherins words causing a shiver of dread to corse thru her body.

Moving to Richards side while Scytherin continued to gaze into the fire. She looked over his wounds, hoping that the blood made things look worse than they were but she doubted it. Let me heal you, and then i will ecxplain what happend at least what little of it i know, or if you prefer Scytherin can explain while i heal you.. Ether way your wounds need to come first. She said.

Blushing as she looked at the blood matting the clothing to his skin she asked. Umm Richard i am going to have to ask you to remove your clothing to i can get to your wounds.... Could you aske the Eskamo people if they have an extra set of clothing for you to borrow when i am done healing you?

Stripping in Greenland, Richard and Wyn

"They probably have more than enough, and if not I can always just make some appear myself."

No one else was in the cave except for them, the eskimoes were outside gathering supplies. From their talk, Richard thought they were going to have a party or some kind of celebration. In honor of the brave warriors who flew through the clouds to defeat the evil monster.

Richard was flattered, as he stripped down naked. The warm fire, and Wyn's warm touch helped him through it.

"Ok," He said, laying down, biting his lower lip, "I'm all yours."

Wyn smiled as she watched Richard, but healed him as quickly as she was able not wanting him to catch a fever or cold from the cold stone and air around them, even with the fire helping keep them warm.

Wyn did her best not to gazed at other parts of Richards anatomy, and finnaly had to give up and borrow the blanket from Scytherin so she could continue.. It was extreamly hard to concentrate when the persion she was healing was male and nude.

There you are ... completly healed.. She said a slight flush to her cheeks once she was finnished. She gave a small gasp as Richard rose to his feet. The blanket falling away her slight flush gone as her face turned beat red she quickly looked away, and moved back over by Scytherin so he could get dressed.

"Wait, that was the goddess?" Eddie had a funny warm feeling about all of this, but still the thought of this being some weird normal day had flown out the window long ago. In the end, Eddie was just standing there with a spoon and a sorrowing look at Raven.

"I thought you liked the girl at the diner. That's why I asked her over for this special meal with you two... She said she wanted chocolates as her gift. What in the world just happened? Am I marked, or something, now?"
