Three Non-Erotic Love Poems

NO POOL WHAT THE HELL!!

They do know, well sort-a. Well one doesn't. the other two do.

I'm going to be a criminal and quote one of the originator of this thread's replies to an earlier post on this board, (please see Is it worth posting non-erotic for clarity's sake).

Ravin the Poet said:
Sorry to say I don't read poetry. I know it sucks because its a good way to get others to read, but I just can never get into reading other's work. I don't know why. I guess I just prefer reading, and no feedback, because I just don't like it to much.

Ravin

So my question to you, Ravin the Poet, is this: Why are you asking for feedback if you don't like it too much?

Ya gotta give a little to get a little back and it seems to me that we're just gonna be playin' with a taker here. Please explain your motives Ravin the Poet. I wouldn't want to do something positive for you that you will hate once its finished.

Thanks, in advance,

Shit ok that came out wrong :p

I like feedback, who doesn't.

But as for giving it, I just don't know. I never seem to get into someone elses poems. It's like I haven't found my "fav" type of poetry, and when I read it, I am just like "ummmm, yeah". I don't give feedback, because well, it wouldn't be worth it to the poet. I will try though, as I know that's how people give you feedback.

And if you are going to just call me a taker, I would suggest atleast asking me why I don't like giving feedback. Ever think that I don't read well, and I may read a poem, but understanding it is a whole new factor. Mixed in with problems with my own spelling and grammar, it makes it very hard to be good a reading a poem.

-But I guess, I'll leave this board and go somewhere else

Well...

Maybe I should have quoted your response to Average Gina on the other thread as well as the one I chose to show case in my previous reply on this thread.

You are coming across as someone who says they want feedback but as soon as any negative comments get made, you'll be turning your passive/aggressive bullshit on and crapping all over the author of the feedback.

That's my take. So if my statements can cause you to pick up and depart, then that would be your loss not mine.

I can take negative feedback. If I couldn't, why would I post them. Positive feedback is nice, it's negative or rather "helping feedback" that makes me better. I would rather someone rip my poem apart then say "Oh thats nice" and leave.

My poem You are Beautiful Tonight, was good, but someone ripped it apart, and now I think it's so much better, and easier to read. All because someone didn't spare me the reality of things.
