(1) Debt fucking sucks. Wait until you can afford it.

(2) Let down your (emotional) walls and connect. Scary but freeing.

(3) Never eat romaine again.

Yours?

Romaine lettuce can kill you. Throw it away.

A gun can kill you. Keep one under your pillow.

1) Don't take your will power for granted - it really is something extraordinary.

2) Self control and self discipline are among the most rewarding things in life.

3) Work hard. Enjoy relaxation.

1. Never get less than 12 hours of sleep.
2. Never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as the name of a city.
3. Never date a woman who has a tattoo of a dagger anywhere on her body.

1. Don’t eat the food unless it’s good.

2. Be kind unless it’s time to stop being kind.

3. Grab onto every adventure you can.

1. Fall in love a few times.

2. Drink the best wine you can afford.

3. Change your underwear every day.

This here is sound advice. Truly.

Dont fuck people over

Dont let people fuck you over and get away with it.

Dont take life seriously.

Smoke weed every day.

There is no such thing as making up for lost time. Time is gone if you could do something substantially faster or more efficiently you would have already done so. Things take the amount of time they take. Allow for that.

Branding is there to give you to pay more for a standard product. The the more you recognize a brand the more you ought to think about whether or not you are actually getting value for the money. That said, where there is actual quality it's often worth the additional cost. Life is too short for cheap toilet paper. Think about your purchases. All of them. They add up.

A paid-off mortgage beats any alternative investment. Not by the numbers, but on the security that provides.

1) Do the right thing, even if no one is looking.

2) Win without bragging and loose without squealing

3) Cuss when it's needed and most times it is needed

Don't work all the time, take time off - in the end it won't matter how much time you spent at work, there will always be more to do or something that needs to be done. Every company can continue without you, even Ford continues without Henry.

Everyone is replaceable, don't ever think that you're not - see above. there is no company that went out of business because 1 person left.

Take more vacations, spend you money on experiences - NOT things. You could have taken a very nice vacation with that $1000 you just spent on a new iPhone that will be obsolete in a year. Your experience will always be with you.

It is NEVER the right time - to buy a house, have kids, etc. Just do it, if you wait for the right time, then time will pass you by and it will be too late.

Tell your family and friends how much they mean to you as much as you can. You never know when you won't have that opportunity again.

Don't take family or friends for granted - see above.

Always save for a rainy day - it will come in handy someday. Don't spend as much as you make - live below your means.

No one really cares what type of car that you drive - they depreciate anyway, you'll never get your money out of them. spend it on a good reliable car, that will last. Don't buy one as soon as you pay your current one off. Save the money.

1. The Golden Rule is a good one to follow.
2. Karma is real and what goes around comes around.
3. Most American men are worthless. Maybe that should be most men without the qualifier.

1) avoid people in wigs.

2) never eat anything bigger than your head.

3) if they say, "trust me", run.

people are rarely what you first suppose them to be - sometimes you're pleasantly surprised, other times disappointed, but it takes time

hate is a waste of your time and energy. there're so many better things to spend them on.

living with a liar isn't living. you deserve better.

(i'll add a fourth: all that emotional baggage? NO ONE is making you carry it except you. put it down, step away - life's suddenly so much lighter)

thisthisthisthisthis... maybe 'especially when no-one's looking'

Never marry a red headed woman.

And sure as fuck do not marry three of them!

1: When you're on your feet, keep your head held high but when you're on your knees just smile and lie. Tell them "alright", tell them "Ok", and when they leave don't do a goddamn thing they say.
2: As long as you're alive hold onto hope.
3: If you're in a better position than someone else, use that position to help them.

Bonus: Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Fret less, very few things are important.

It's ok to be egoistic. You can't carry others if it wrecks your back.

Indulge in silly shit.

Unless you're allergic, or a filthy vegan, try every cheese at least once.

That's four, so let's add a fifth: Fuck the rules.

It's better to be alone than to be with people who don't make you feel good about yourself. It's a judgement on them, not on you.

The person who claims to have the most wisdom and insight is the least likely to have any. Most advice is self serving.

Never rely on anyone else to save you or improve your life. People who want to save you are invested in keeping you vulnerable.
