truly a vague idea- I don't have much more than the title, but it is eating a chunk of my brain.

I think evolution creates wet nurses with three breasts. But hope somebody can improve upon that.

The great philosopher Al Bundy once said that his ideal woman would have three breasts, with "one in the back, for dancing."

I also recall a three-breast-up-front character (very briefly) in the movie Total Recall.

For a story idea, I'm assuming that Tricera-Boob would be the main character. She would either be the object of lust from every man that sees her, and feels overwhelmed by it, or she could be shunned by all and thinks she will never find love. In either case, she eventually meets someone who loves her for exactly how she is.

Triple breasted women implies a large population of triplet mothers.

Twins are numerous and normal occurence in humans, larger sets are largely a rare anomaly.

Another issue is, Earth mammals generally feature (approximate) mirror symmetry in their body structure, with most organs set in pairs. Hominids have one pair of mammaries, other species can have up to six or more. I believe quad breasted women (double stacked in a square) are far more biologically likely than triple in a row.

Apparently, it's a thing indeed.

Third nipples may also be referred to as “supernumerary nipples” or “accessory nipples.” They are exactly what they sound like — an extra nipple. Third nipples are a very minor birth defect, and in some cases they may be genetic. They are actually quite common, occurring in 1% to 5% of the population.

And they're exactly where I expected them to be before looking it up.

The nipples appear along the two vertical "milk lines", which start in the armpit on each side, run down through the typical nipples and end at the groin. They are classified into eight levels of completeness from a simple patch of hair to a milk-bearing breast in miniature.

So, she will wear two bras one above the other.
