Threads has about 100 million users and the challenge now is to get them engaged and keep them engaged. According to Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram. Meta is mostly going after a different audience than Twitter which has about 500 million users.
“The goal isn’t to replace Twitter. The goal is to create a public square for communities on Instagram that never really embraced Twitter and for communities on Twitter (and other platforms) that are interested in a less angry place for conversations.”
Mosseri also said Threads isn’t going to encourage politics or hard news, citing what he called scrutiny, negativity and integrity risks.

"Active users" while engagement declines 50% SHOULD tell you something. Well, it tells most people something. You I'm not so sure about; you being quite deaf to most things.
Again, bots aren't people. Even twitter has a huge bot problem.

They aren't bots. Engagement means people have signed up and aren't posting.
So the Putin-Bots haven't bothered to infest Trope Social. And 98-99% of Threads content is bots. Damn you're good, counselor.
