The Cold Dark: Descent of Winter

Background​

The lands of Fanoria have for generations been a relatively peaceful place, with only minor skirmishes and battles, often quickly settled. Ruled over by Emperor Marthus I, a man rumored to be not only powerful, but immortal. Unbeknownst to most in the empire, their lands were only safe and peaceful thanks to the efforts of this great man. Everything seemed normal, perfect in the lands of Fanoria.

When a mysterious winter began to settle over the edges of the empire, creeping in from all directions toward the heart of Fanoria, the people were not immediately concerned, thinking it just an early coming of the seasons. But when changes began to come over the land, the once tall and majestic forests of the northern realms becoming dark and twisted places. Crops began to wilt and die, the grounds suddenly becoming infertile and dry.

The normal creatures of the land began to become sickly and diseased, sometimes rabid things. They've begun attacking people at random, spreading diseases, etc.

And then the actual winter came. Blizzards unlike the land has seen since before the time of Marthus, when the empire was still a group of small kingdoms battling constantly have swept in, killing plant and animal and person alike, showing no mercy and leaving in their wake three to four feet drifts of snow. Hale the size of grapefruit pelt the land, tearing through thatched roofs and battering people unlucky enough to be caught in the storm.

What is happening to Fanoria? A winter like this has never been seen in the time of the people who now live, even the eldest can not remember weather like what they are experiencing. Experienced hunters, rangers, druids, and other such wild people are bewildered by the animal life taking this bitter turn. And now strange occurances are being reported, people claiming that strange creatures and mysterious figures have been seen prowling the land, especially at night.

Are you brave enough to attempt to solve this mystery? Are you ready to journey into the cold dark and attempt to seize the truth and return Fanoria to it's former glory?

Characters​

1: This is a game based in a fantasy world. HOWEVER, this is not fantasy in the traditional sense. There are no elves, dwarves, etc, so please do not ask to play one. All characters are to be humans, and while they can have some special ability, do not push your luck. Magic does exist in this world, but as the average person hasn't been trained to use it(if they're even capable of wielding it in the first place), they will not be overly powerful/controlled.

2: While I have this listed in the sexual role play board, I do expect there to be more story than sex in this rp. Please do not join with the intent of role playing nothing but sex. If I see you trying to steer the thread in that direction, your character will be written out of the story and we will continue on without you.

3: I expect all players to be able to write a minimum of one paragraph per post, even in situations where they are having a conversation with someone or fighting. Description, people, description! Its not hard to squeeze out 5+ well written sentences.

4: If you're going to be away for an extended period of time, please make us aware on the OOC Board

An Upscale Family

This is a story that's been buzzing around in my head for the better part of two days, but I wasn't sure what to do with it. Figured I'd post here to see if there is any interest.

The Hearthie family is a pretty established one, living in upstate New York, just north of the city. Dad is a lawyer, Mom works for a fashion company as a higher up executive. The eldest child, a daughter, has already moved cross country and married. Meanwhile the rest of the family consists of two children: A 21 year old daughter who's attending college while living at home and harbors a deep secret, and an 18 year old son finishing his senior year of high school who's got a constant itch for sex that he can't ever seem to scratch.

Recently, the family's maid retired at the ripe old age of 63, and they've had to hire a newer maid. The first few the agency sent didn't last long. One was an alcoholic, one was stealing, and one was more like a drill sergeant who liked to try and run their lives.

So now the agency has sent a new girl, younger than the others had been. At only 20, she's a native of the east coast, born in Delaware in a small town. She's quiet, reserved, does as she's told, and absolutely gorgeous, if not a but more innocent looking than normal.

The game would primarily focus around the interactions of the family and the new maid, going about their daily lives. I'll provide a brief description of each of the characters below. Note, I'm leaving the names up to the players.:

Roger Hearthie(taken):
A powerful lawyer working for a big time law firm in the city. He's handsome, despite the fact that he's in his late 40s by now, but is suffering from the loneliness of having a loveless marriage.

Mrs. Hearthie:
A type-A controller, Mrs. Hearthie works as an executive for a big fashion company in the city. She runs her life with efficiency and if it weren't so hectic, would likely run her entire family's lives as well. She's a mild drinking problem, but nothing severe enough to constitute calling her an alcoholic. For the past six years she hasn't slept with her husband, instead turning her sights on to those(men and women) who are more easily controlled.

2nd Daughter:
A college student at the local private college, she got in thanks to her parent's money and her good grades. Ever since high school, she's harbored the secret that she's a lesbian, keeping it from her family for fear of being ridiculed.

Sebastien(taken):
A high school student in his senior year, he's the typical prep in the way he looks, always dressing in designer clothes and insisting he drive the nicest car. Ever since he was in middle school, he's been a horndog, always chasing the skirts of the girls around him.

The Maid(taken):
Liliana is a quiet, subservient thing with a talent for pleasing those around her. She goes about her job quietly, does what needs to be done, and then goes back to the small apartment she lives in above the Hearthie's garage at the end of the day, living on the premisis should they need her for anything.

Mr. Hearthie's Secretary:
A woman with a heart of gold, she's the type who can be docile and loving with her man one moment, then take charge of the situation and put her foot down the next. She's been working for Mr. Hearthie for some time now, and while she developed feelings for him early on, the two have never done more than flirt.

I'm looking for one, potentially two females to join me in a thread.

Premise:

A friend of my mother asks me to help her move some things out of her garage, she's (Name: Karen) is a lonely hosewife who's son is in the military and her daughter is away at college. Her husband, often found being unfaithful to her while away from home is, once again, away on business. Thus necessitating the need for my character's (Samuel/Sam) help. The secondary female role is open for her daughter (Lisa) coming home for a visit from college.

Le Vendee

Looking for some players for my thread, Le Vendee. It's a French Revolution thread, yes, but set in the heavily Royalist province of the Vendee, which is in open revolt and counterrevolution against the liberal, Enlightenment ideals of the Revolution. I play Col. Henri Montague, a Jacobin and staunch Revolutionary army officer, with a deep and bitter hatred of the ancien regime.

I need players of both sexes, especially Royalists to counterbalance my character's strong Republican sympathies.

EDIT: Found someone to play this with me. Thanks to all those who took the time to PM :rose:

Just have a simple idea brewing in my head about a relaitionship forming between an older male proffesor and a young unbridled student that he becomes infatuated with. He's so used to keeping his proffessional life seperate from personal, but he becomes completely captivated with her. When she reciprocates his affections he reveals to her his darker side and introduces her to a life of carnal pleasure and sexual bondage.

Themes would be light to medium bondage, D/s, humiliation (being paraded infront of the proff's peers, forced to serve them and treated like a pet), orgies, prostitution etc.

So if you would like to play the role of the pretty young thing that captivates the proffesor just give me a PM and we can discuss the specifics :). I'm looking for a writing partner capable of detailed multiple paragraph posts (though short posts when needed are not a problem) who enjoys a patient, slow build-up between our two characters, with lots of hot, raunchy sex thrown into the mix.

Male Babysitter

A twist to the usual babysitter threads this time the babysitter is a guy a shy quiet naive geeky 18 year old

I have the Mother that he is babysitter for and the 18 year old daughter , but my hopes for the thread is that the young boy is introduced to the wider world of sex and then see how his character and that of the women in his life develops.

So what do I need ?
