In a week or so we're going to need a male to play the role of the scheming official who imprisons Edmund and puts Firanzin in his harem. It's a guest role, so you know they escape, but you get a couple of days game time in the harem with Firanzin.

We might be open to a female harem girl if someone really wants in.

PM slippedhalo or me if you're interested. We'll have other roles coming up, including pirates and mutineers.

A vampire thread, main thread will be posted when I get a good amount of people for both sides.

The main idea:
There are rules within vampiric society, rules that are meant to be followed... Those who follow the rules are referred to as Vassals. Those who have shunned the laws and are hunted are known as Licents, the impure. A deep hatred of the other is shared by each side.
A war is held silently in Modern NYC among both sides, while the two also try to keep their vampire lives unnoticed by mortal lives. They do try to seem mortal to keep down suspicions, but their fight makes this hard.

Its explained a bit more in the OOC thread.

ST: Voyager RP?

Was thinking of starting up a SRP thread along the Voyager theme. It would use those familiar characters, with maybe a few new faces, on a new adventure set just after their return back to earth. ANy one interested?

Ranting

I'm ranting, but I'm ranting about threads that die early deaths. My new thread got a reply and I was thrilled until I read it, it seemed to ignore everything I posted except the location. I hate it when a post does that because if I ever reply it will be an angry post because the previous post pissed me off.

Also I like to browse threads with few replies and nearly all seem to have a response from emily123, with a generic "I'd like to post" which then kills the thread as well for some reason.

I understand a virgin poster making mistakes but not reading a post or writing a reply that would be better suited to an OOC or an private message is alarming.

Okay rant over and I feel able to start a new thread coherently.

If you're interested in writing with me I have instant pop up for messages, so I get them as soon as I log on board.

Storytelling

I would be interested in writing a story for a female roleplayer. I can write old school roleplay like D&D. I'm pretty familiar with Forgotten Realms, and also pretty familiar with the Vampire the Masquerade setting. Or, like I sometimes do.. I can make shit up. It works pretty well for me. Or I could even full on DM for a girly gamer dork. If there is any interest just PM me, or you can IM me as well. I'd possibly be open to inviting more people over time - but for now I would prefer to keep it small and intimate. (In regard to the feel of the story.)
