One Crazy Hotel needs Staff and Guests

Thru Time
The Beginning

This is an open thread to anyone as long as you post in the ooc. You would need to come up with a character, a time in history, or a planet, do a brief introduction as to your character then post in the thread, where you are, what your doing... etc... then the Gods/Goddesses will interact with you in some way.

***** Biggest thing to remember.... The Gods/Goddesses can and will toy in your life, they will move your character whenever they feel like it. They will not speak for them unless you allow us to, but we will post long posts and you will have to roleplay wherever we place you*****

Five sisters gather around one looking up some looking down. They light one, two, then three, eventually all are lit for me.

Okay... I can't do poetry for the entire catch up... lol

Five sisters gathered around the candles to call the Goddess of Love, Avaline. It is the year 2005, and all modern day technology is evident. Each sister has a special gift. Wyn can heal and knows telepathy, preferring to speak to animals. Raven is also a healer and an empath. Iolantha (Io) is able to control the elements. Alexandria (No longer posting... ) Ciara (no longer posting) is gifted in telekinesis and pyrokinesis in minor doses.

Our gentleman came from all eras and all times. Ben (not posting) came from modern times, 1980's. Dale (no longer posting) came from the Old West. Aiden (gone... lol) was from the Gladiator time period. Scytherin (adios) was from the future. Valic (gone) was from another planet. The men had no special talents they were just men.

There were 3 extra characters. Richard (gone) the minstrel/temporary God, Michiko (gone) the Samuari, and Lily (willing to write more, but has no partner) an girl that was pulled in by a wish from her brother to find her perfect mate.

New men in the thread... Raymond, Draken, Zues, and Eddie (unsure yet about him).

Each girl was given a quest, a broach and then put in their respected times that the men were in. Now.... only 3 of the original sisters remain, so the others I will not bother with. Up to post 350 is not as important as the ones that have gone on before... but are important if you wish to know more about a particular character that is still around. Especially the Goddess and you're playing a God/Goddess... you would know about her past.

Pm - each person if you want detailed information about their pasts before the post of #350.

Right now....

Avaline has just received her powers back and is being “hunted” unbeknown to her.

She was mortal for a time being, but was given her powers back when it became apparent that the mortal that claimed to love her was not coming back to save her.

Rules of the Gods... if a mortal decides they wish to become a God/Goddess in order to love and wed a God/Goddess they must complete 5 quests. One of these quests became Richard being placed as a temporary God, and Avaline was placed on Earth as a mortal.

If the mortal truly loved the God/Goddess and completed all five quests, and the Goddess loves the mortal all is happily ever after. If... the mortal completes the quests, but he was wrong in the returned affections of love then the mortal dies. If the mortal fails and doesn't complete the quests the Goddess dies.

Zues has placed Draken (demon/demoness hunter) in the story. Dropped demon blood into Avaline's blood stream and has told Draken... kill her. Draken doesn't know she is a Goddess. He has been placed with 2 sisters... Wyn and Raven and one man... Raymond.

Raymond is a swimmer that was pulled from his time, and traveled to Germany 1942, then plucked and place in South America with Wyn and Raven.

Avaline was in Germany 1942 with Iolantha and Karl. Karl is an SS Soldier from Germany. They are all now in the clouds with Avaline. Who is waiting to speak with Zues.

All quests have been met by .... Iolantha, and Raven... Once it is revealed by Zues to Avaline about her health and all then Wyn too would have been met her quest as well... but... now the girls will have to find a way to save Avaline.

So... we can still have men join in the thread, and if 2 more woman want to come in and take over the roles of the sisters then to me... that is okay, because they are gone. No one will take over as Richard. But a new player can come in as a God or a man, and they would know all about Avaline. She won't fall easily for love again.... She is very hurt and saddened again, by a mortal... I doubt she'll trust a man that isn't her kind.

the setting is as following:

Spellsong is a revisitation of my old thread, Bardsong. Work collided most painfully with my ability to continue coming to this thread and making regular posts. Now that my life is back in some semblance of order, I'd like to try this again.

Looking for a few good, descriptive, and of course, creative authors to participate in what will hopefully be a long running fantasy based thread. I'm fairly flexible with the storyline, but unless you plan to introduce a villian meant to challenge the group of combined heroes, I must ask that you are able to get along at least somewhat with the other created characters. (the last two attempts - Dark Days of Old and Bardsong were nearly destroyed by character quarreling.) Sarcasm, mischief, pranks and other forms of dislike are approved....just not downright meanness. :p

I'm free willing and able to aprticipate in anything.. i have aprt of a story going but need to work on it with someone. won't do straight man on man but will do it as part of a group... thats just so nobody feels excluded :D

Mainly i'd like to start working with an experienced woman. i have the material to send both what im currently working on.. which is good just not brilliant (hence need the help) and something i wrote along time ago so people who are intrested in joining in know what i can write.

Are there any roleplays out there grounded in realism? I just dislike the ones were these ridiculous not even porn situations come up. I would like to participate and I always have fun doing it, and do a good job but would like a r/p without a girl sleeping with her dad or something:)

Somewhere in the deep shelves of old forgoten liberaries one might find a book containing some informaion about the Ghost known as The Dream Maker.
Some see him as a Demon some as an Angel.
His purpouse in life is to punish the wicked and perverted females of the human race. Or to Make their dreams.
