Well i have an idea.

A married woman, running her own clothing brand, a person operation. She seeks investors. She find one, and lands it with but one condition. A young , someone related to the investor, fresh out of college would work with her. He wins her trust first
then he gets close to her to the point of changing the tone of her designs to mix elegance with a sultryness before he tames her.

Interesting.
Have you given any thought to twisting it so that SHE "tames" him?

This is a good idea. The investor is a successful designer herself and is fond of taking chances with unknown designers. It's paid off big in the past. But her son, though talented in his own right is just coasting by in her company and she puts him on notice. A little tough love, so to speak. "You get this woman and her designs together and ready for Milan by August, or you're out."
He's a bit of a ladies' man and she's a largely neglected wife who doesn't quite get how attractive she is or could be. A perfect slow burn seduction story.

That's the intention, slow burn....Further it isnot that she is neglected more so about how after meeting me she realises the neglect in some ways. How she feels herself as the man in her marriage.

You could reduce the moving parts quite a bit and the number of filtering tags by just acknowledging that small business owners tend to be wedded to their work, possibly the reason she's so good is she threw herself into her business after a divorce, or a very traumatic breakup.

A small business can't afford to be rude to customers, artists to patrons. Maybe his arrogance is coming across as needing correction. Maybe he loses her a contract and his mother finally knocks him over the head enough to realize how much damage his lack of decorum is causing not just the people around him, but also himself. Maybe she threatens to cut him off if he can't play nice.

They end up in bed together somehow and he's not clear whether this counts as 'playing nice' or not so then it becomes a secret he's keeping from his mother until he can sort out if this is the last straw or okay.

Well if the husband was the one who got her to the cusp of loosing a contract because he didn't support some of her designs and so they are in a strained relationship. That would make sense and reduce one variable.
As for the young man bring a reason for a loss, it would not make sense for a manipulative character to not be able to save a deal and be reckless so it's a road that he takes the woman down on not a somehow thing.
But that does helpe solve one bit right there so always open to more inputs liliput1.

Making an eighteen year old effectively emotionally manipulate a successful business woman is wish fulfillment by a very young person.

And I say that as someone who felt they suffered age discrimination up to age ~25.

So that leaves stroker - which is perfectly fine, I should read more of those - or blackmail. Which is NC and unfortunately a lot of the common responders here are kinda down on that category, at least in recent months, so we will be less than helpful.

The guy isn't 18, early 20s

Look, let me flip this around and maybe what I'm saying will make a bit more sense, instead of like I'm just being crabby.

When you're in your early 20's you don't want your friends dating 35 year olds not just because it's creepy but also the wealth of life experience difference means the amount of mind-fucking the 35 year old can do to your friend is alarmingly large. Even your first jobs really got more work out of you than they paid for, even allowing for the 'experience' excuse, because they outplayed you.

Your personality doesn't even finish forming until 25. You're not going to trick many grown ass adults into doing something unless it's bribery, extortion, or persuasive speaking. You can seduce. I got people to do (purely platonic/professional) things at that age by convincing them it was the right decision. They wanted to do it. The undercurrent in a lot of the 'seduce your aunt/mom's friend' stories is that the older person is ultimately into it - it's their libido fighting their sense of ethics, not the young person fighting both. It's a dance that might look like force to the younger person but isn't really.

It's like that drop dead gorgeous guy who is using horrible pickup lines at the bar and they work. It's not the pickup lines. You can't copy them. He could have read the ingredients on a bag of chips and someone would have gone home with him. Probably 30% more people would have gone home with him if he'd read the chips instead of using the line.

maybe because "stitches rhymes with "witches"*:

has anybody thought about magic thread and enchanted needles?

*it also rhymes with "bitches". not to be misognistic, but what about a title "stitches and bitches"?
