The more interesting the thread, the more intense the conversation, the easier it seems to kill it.
The amount of times I have replied to threads with well thought out opinions on the subject matter only to find a day or month later, my reply is still sitting proudly as the last.
I like to think that I made people think so deeply on the subject that people, even a few months later, are still formulating a response worthy of my diatribe or that, unwittingly, I answered all of the questions asked within the thread.
Alas, no, it is just that I probably respond when everyone else has said all they want to say, that I am just repeating ad nauseum the conclusions that everyone has already made or simply, that people don't really care what random poster #4346 has to say on the subject.
Either way, it is an art form, thread killing and with my lack of ability to play a guitar, write a sonnet or draw a fabulous picture, I have found my niche.
/Salute fellow thread killers.
