thread death...

Good Morning! Just about time for me to head into the office to play catch up. You'll have this thread to yourself again. For awhile. ;)

O thats sucks Cheyenne... Because I am already at the office been here since since uhm yesterday

Tra la la, let's see what I can do to avoid finding out what I have to do for homework this weekend because I don't remember and I don't want to.

I don't seem to be moving to the office today any faster than I got out of here yesterday....

Ha. No, it IS tomorrow now, and that means I do have to go to the office again in a few hours. You're just behind again, Mink. ;)

Like Cheffie, I've been here more than a year now. Guess that means I'm not going anywhere in the near future. ;) Glad to see you're still here, too!

Oh Yea?....ok...

speaking of death...

in my family we have an interesting tradition.....

a family coffin...

when someone in the family dies...

they're put in it for the funeral. after, they're taken out and cremated, then the coffin is put back in storage untill it's needed again.

Practical, yet icky. Who stores the coffin between funerals? The latest branch of the family to have used it?

Is she planning on needing it next or she just got stuck with it?

actualy, She wanted it that way...

the last three years of my Dad's life were not good so his death wasn't met with screaming and crying....

it wasn't "Thank God he's gone" but "Thank you Lord he's not suffering anymore"...

my sister summed it up in three words....

....Daddy's at peace...

I guess that does put a different slant on it. That is a long time to suffer. I hope when it is my turn to go that I need the coffin immediately, no long waiting periods first.

And now that we've turned this thread into a REAL death thread......

Oh God, no! My best friend does that kind of stuff now. He loves to torture me with horror stories.
