for Vana. My father's scheduled to have another heart surgery. He has been having cardiac arrythmia and the meds aren't helping. He checked himself out of IC yesterday and contacted the cardiology clinic near where my parents live. Surgery seems like the best option, the only other one being medication with severe side effects.
I'm worried. Apart from the obvious concerns about his well-being, I'm also sad for him. His dream has always been to get his pilot's license, but that can't happen while he has these heart problems.
I've been sending positive thoughts to him all day, but a few more wouldn't hurt.

A top-up of positive thoughts.Know a couple of guys who had cardiac arrythmia, went the surgery route and were declared totally fine after. Think your dad might be right to shun the meds route - only from the guys I know, not any knowledge.

He was fine throughout the entire thing, flirting with the nurses and all. He seems alright, and he passed all the tests in the hospital, so hopefully this will be the last of that. My parents just went on a little Christmas vacation, and we're of course all hoping that there will be no more abnormalities.

If you haven't made arrangements for donating your organs when you leave this veil of tears--PLEASE--give it serious consideration. I understand some religions and cultures have problems with doing that. But while you won't need them any more, your gift can mean life instead of death for someone waiting on a donor organ or, as in my case, sight instead of blindness.
