I've read articles and watched videos about trans women's sexual role in bed. It seems that for trans women they are mainly bottoms unless in they are in the sex industry. Some trans women seem pretty judgmental about others who top and men who bottom for those trans women. It's pretty hypocritical being judgmental to others similar to yourself when you're both in a group of people who has been harshly judged for a long time. Just curious about other people's opinions on the subject.

Transgender women who top are very rare but then so are the men who are bottoms. Out of curiosity I once scanned a few transgender dating sites that had sexual role in people’s profiles. Only about 5% of transgender women are tops. Among men about the same percentage are bottoms.

My girlfriend is a pure top and I am her bottom (which I love). I often think that it’s good there are people like us who match each other. Of course my girlfriend keeps this a secret and tells no one for the reasons you mentioned. Haters gotta hate I guess.

BTW my girlfriend has never been a hooker or worked in porn - she is a hairdresser. Here she is in her shop cutting hair.

Interesting topic

My experience, is that TG women how are in the dating pool, tend to be bottoms, exclusively. I have had some be as frank as saying that they "don't fuck and don't get sucked. They want to be fucked and they want to suck. I think that if I feel that I am a women and what to be treated as one. The only tops I've been with are sex workers. I've always wondered when I was getting pounded by them if they are bi or angry at all the masculine men who picked on them before they transitioned. They all have been very dominating once I said I want to be bottomed and one facefucked me do hard she rubbed my younger against my molars and caused an abrasion. My dentist wanted to know how I received it and wanted to biopsy it!
Oh well.... just my thoughts

My current girlfriend is transgendered. When I first met her she was just crossdressing, and didn't start hormone therapy until a couple of years later. She was attending university in Sydney, and working as a prostitute as well, which she gave up at my request about 18 months after we met. I prefer to bottom with transsexuals (and males), although with her I am versatile. Fortunately for me, she also enjoys topping me. When she has sex with other males, she only bottoms.

I also have sex with a lot of transsexual prostitutes when I travel for business around Asia (or did before covid) and for the most part they are more than willing to top. The only other non-prostitute transgender woman I had a relationship with was bottom only.

I trans woman friend of mine explained to me that with HRT erections are a use it or lose it type of thing. She prefers women or trans women (she describes herself as a transbian) and said that she prefers to top as opposed to to being pegged or topped by another crossdresser or trans woman. She also mentioned that she has no qualms about using Viagra simply because the hormones in her system just overpower desire. She said it makes her rock hard like the girls in the Evil Angel videos although achieving ejaculation is extremely difficult and she often dry fires, getting the sensation and rush and even pulsations of an orgasm with nothing coming out. She is not a sex worker, and works as a professional in an office setting.

Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger. I know she's an anomaly. Gender dysphoria affects everyone differently. How you feel on the inside, how you feel on the outside and how you choose to manifest that appearance is different for everyone. And that appearance might not have any bearing on your sexuality in general. For many, form follows function, but as we all know that just isn't always the case.

Your last paragraph. Exactly. Everyone is different and I know my girlfriend is a rare one. No gender dysphoria. No hormones. The voice and body of a woman. If anyone with a penis was meant to be a woman it’s her. Here she is with her dog.

Trans women are not a monolith and characters, tastes, sexuality are as varied as cis gender people, so there will be some who are judgemental, some who are complete darlings and some who are assholes. So what?

I have no issue with what adults do in bed and neither should we - it's none of our business. Period.

It can't be all that uncommon about 10% of the girls I know top
My survey showed about 5% of transgender women are pure tops and about the same percentage of men who are pure bottoms for transgender women. There are many more who are versatile.

ok yeah I was counting verse

I know someone on HRT who said that the accompanying skin softening made penetration unpleasant. Also saw significant shrinkage. So she's now using a testosterone cream on her member to counteract those effects locally.

I can't seem to understand people being mystified by the criticality of others in their same demographic... remove the labels and what do you have??? Homosapeins sapeins. So long as you have people, you will ALWAYS have people problems.

I've never heard of T being used topically like that but I gather erectile dysfunction pills work for trans women. If someone is taking anti-androgens + estrogen then adding any T treatment would be like taking a laxative and Imodium at the same time. She ought to make sure that's been recommended by a pharmacist, but I'd be interested to hear the rationale.

When it comes to libido and hormones, there are accepted parameters for estrogen and testosterone levels in everyone. Finding your happy place after transition is the key and it can take a couple of years to find the right balance for your body. Broadly speaking T is one driver for libido in men: trans men report sexual urges off the scale when they first start treatment, but I guess that settles down too - it is much the same puberty process cis teen boys go through. But T is a blunt tool and its side effects to people trying to avoid male characteristics are clear.

More often lack of sex drive is down to boring stuff like anxiety, tiredness, depression, poor diet, age, watching too much news and general health. You need to check those first and not reach for hormones.

For what it's worth, before I decided on just getting a vaginectomy and not giving a shit, my PCP asked if I wanted topical E to try to restore the pliability of my vaginal tissue (since I wanted to try receiving without dying). He is very experienced with transgender healthcare, specifically "FtM", and doesn't do things willy-nilly so I assume this isn't too unusual or out-of-the-box. I do think, for me, it was "unusual" because I think most people just crank up the lube usage and keep trying, but I was experiencing too much pain. Now? Now it doesn't matter!
Is the vaginal tissue still very pliable? Do you still use both holes?

Why should there be a question or an issue why transwoman tops? No more an issue if a guy bottoms or their preference. I've had several clients that have only done the breasts, fully passable. If the mechanics of the lower half is still there and it works, more power to them. Coming from a straight loveless relationship to being around those that laugh and enjoy themselves, no matter what the sexuality, don't miss out on accepting people for the joy of it. It's not called a joy stick for nothing.

Lol, my girlfriend’s cock is definitely a joy stick for both of us! My girlfriend only has breast implants and I didn’t care if she did, but it mattered to her so that’s all that counts.

During vaginectomy. does the old vagina get made into a short penis for peeing, or sex?

Vaginectomy (AKA colpectomy & colpocleisis) provides nothing for the phallus. The reason for a vaginectomy is to significantly reduce complications for urethral lengthening (apart from other reasons like eliminating secretions, eliminating need for internal exams, & wanting a different-looking perineum). In a metoidioplasty, neighboring tissue is used to lengthen the urethra through the phallus.

Of course... this is all off-topic, lol. If you have other questions about "FtM" stuff, I'd suggest you go to my thread instead of asking me on this one, which is about trans women who top...
how do i get to your thread now? i hate this new formant.
