I'll being with Donald Rumsfeld. Is there another man alive that can seem as arrogant or smug at a press conference. The man has the uncanny ability to make himself look like a total fucking prick.

The CNN dude, Rogers, with the "charming vignettes."

Having to watch Paula Zahn again - she's the worst female anchorwoman I've ever seen.

Iraqi statemets - these really made me laugh:

1. Likening Bush to Al Capone
2. The constant use of the word "gangs" and "gangsters"
3. The Iraqis response to Kuwait at the friggin Arab League meeting
4. "international criminal heading a gang of bastards" - nuff said

"Bush should be slapped with old shoes..."

That one was pretty good.

The NPR anchor-guy said the Iraqis have an "arsenal of insults."

Ari's pretty smug. Especially when he can pin it on the trial lawyers.

Saddam has a sense of humor:

First he challenged GWB to a duel. Then a debate. Then he ordered GWB go into exile.

GWB is a coward. GWB is an 'ignorant idiot'. GWB has an expanding empire.

PC or not...

This one made me laugh. Just wish they could have used enough guys to spell out Sadam instead...

Don't think it's copywrited... showed up in email.

Oh, yeah, and they're asking the Security Council to take action to defend Iraq.

50/50, you really live up to your description of yourself.

The candidate's agitprop organized a multimedia campaign to discredit his opponent.

agitprop (AJ it prop) n. agency or department that directs and coordinates agitation and propaganda.

This word seems to be the result of one language, in this case Russian, borrowing from English, putting its unique spin on our word, and returning it to us in a somewhat aberrant form. "Agitprop" is a shortened form of "Agitpropbyuro," a Russian "bureau" in charge of agitation and propaganda. Often capitalized, "Agitprop" is used especially to refer to agitprop that promotes communism. It can also refer to a person who specializes in agitprop, and it can be used as an adjective.

Annoying:
The practice of news agency's reporting "confirmed reports" of things, only to retract them an hour later!

Amusing:
Listening to MSNBC's "expert", who'd obviously been up all night, talk about the Kurdish/Turkish problems in northern Iraq. In his comments, he said "The Kurds and Turds..." It was a mistake from a very tired person, but damn amusing.

The Iraqi versions of the classic army regulations can be summarized as:

If it doesn't move, hide behind it.

If it does move, surrender to it.

Iraqi Air Force motto:

I came I saw Iran

------------------

"A lot of folks are still demanding more evidence before they actually consider Iraq a threat. For example, France wants more evidence. And you know I'm thinking, the last time France wanted more evidence they rolled right through Paris with the German flag." —David Letterman

"In California, 50 women protested the impending war with Iraq by lying on the ground naked and spelling out the word peace. Right idea, wrong president." —Jay Leno

"I don't know why people are surprised that France won't help us get Saddam out of Iraq. After all, France wouldn't help us get the Germans out of France." —Jay Leno
------------

Have to find some humor in it.
Much better than screaming.
