Thoughts on character.

As a lesbian, at least that's better than dumbass, after all if you're going to be an ass you might as well be an intelligent one.

You asked...

What is character?
The measure of the man.

Why do some people seem to have it and others don't?
Everyone has it; in some it is admirable, in others despicable.

How important is character?
That depends on the person to whom you direct the question. For me it is of the ultimate importance. For others, it is inconsequential. As evidence I offer you the Democrats' 1992 and 1996 campaigns; they coined the phrase, "Character doesn't matter," I believe. If not, they certainly got good mileage from it and epitomize it.

How do you judge someone on their character?
By my personal standards of honesty and integrity.

How much of a role does a person's character play in the amount of respect you give them?
The whole thing!

What? Are you saying you don't like Aiko?

I'm banning you from this site Mistress Honey.

Never

Are you really a lesbian?

Gosh, I didn't know that.

;) :D

Never said:

You might as well ask why some people become criminals and others don?t; people have character because they choose to have it. As to why they have it, well it's probably a combination of genetics and environment and upbringing like everything else that human's do.[/b]
I agree. Personally I have always pretty much had the same character I have now so it was not formed soley by environment. I have polished off some of the rough edges, and built up some of the deficiencies, and strengthened others - but my character has always been pretty much the same for as long as I can remember.

In short, people can and are born with a certain amount of character, good or bad in nature.
