OMG-it seems as if we can never keep ahead of the latest threat to our kids.
Thank you for the post. Life is so fragile, and full of dangers. No one ever talks about how scary it is to be a parent, or how you can never have peace of mind that you will be able to protect your children and keep them safe. There is no safe place for them. :rose:

Another product as the story said in a almost endless list of things kids or adults can legally get and use to kill themselves.

Very few items use only compressed air and even that if under enough pressure will freeze whatever it touches for a moment so huffing, dusting or whatever you want to call it is going to happen everyday, wow aren't I a bearer or good news today....... anywayif someone wants to get a fast buzz, adult or a kid they're going to find something to do it. What a truly fucked up world we live in these day.

ANyone remember the first teenager that murdered himself by huffing PAM? Happened back in the early 70's to a HS student weeks away from graduating and had already been looked at and had a real possible career is pro baseball. His name was Mike (Last name ommited) and I knew him, never would have thought he'd do that, but he did cause it wasn't drugs as his buddies tried to get hi to do, so just a little huff of PAM to get them off his back. And by the way, it was the first time he'd done it, and the last.

It's important to realize gang, that it is not just Dust Off that kids are "Huffing." Any aerosol can will produce the same effects, air freshener deoderant, furniture polish, and even spray paint...In mexico and on some indian reservations, you can see kids, and teenagers with tell-tail discoloring around their noses, from the paint; saw that on the streets of mexico a few years back...the big problem is that the different products kill the brain cells off differently, some take longer and some take a shorter amount of time to kill, but they all kill eventually...Just depends on the amount of brain cell damage the user incur before it happens....

So don't think that just because snopes mentions Dust Off that that is the only problem...Huffings been around since I was a kid, it has even been done with Gasoline (another thing hapenning in meixco and on the rez). Even Woodmeister mentioned the product "PAM." Probably suburbias first huffing drug of choice...

Huffing is the cheap alternative to drugs for a lot of kids, it is even thought to be "safer" because people doing it think that, since the products are in our homes, they couldn't possibly be dangeous...just don't realize that those products are "sfe" only if used for their intended purpose...
