When were "the days" for you: college? high school? Your childhood? Your twenties? Your thirties? Is there a Golden Age in your life? When, and why?

Probably high school so far, although at the time I didn't realize it. Twenty years from now, it'll probably change.

When I was in the Navy...

Oh the memories...

I didn't have to pick out my own clothes
I could wear combat boots every day
I could watch SEALs exercise
I worked on a ship, but everyone else called it a building
I could say "aye aye" without getting laughed at
I could watch SEALs exercise

I miss the Navy.

When my son was first born. I fell in love with him and being a mom. It was a wonderful year.

well let's just skip my thirties altogether
forties looking good though .........

40s Rule!

My life "began" at 40! Despite a few setbacks, this decade has been the best of my life. Hoping the next ten will be even better.:D

Actually, still looking forward to them... Hope they get here:)

Forgot to say Marry X-mas, love this site. Most of the members... alot seem like they're pretty 'good people'. Good wishes to them and their family.

Preschool years. Finger painting and Transformers. What else could one ask for in life?

Put me in the camp of those who haven't seen "the days" yet. For me, life has seemed to get better as I've gotten older. There have been some significant dips along the way, but the overall trend has been that I've enjoyed life more the older I've gotten. I'm anticipating it to keep getting better, especially after I finally start receiving a *gasp* income.

The first two years of medical school pretty much sucked, though. Those were the "anti-days".

I know it's a question...

Laurel, what about you?
And before the smart-assed responses come... I know who I'm talking to.;)

For me - Primary (or Elementary) School. The best of best friends. Summer days that lasted forever, carefreee and scotfree. Life was fun and moved with the wind. Ah youth.

Woh, I've got alot to learn. Sorry to any-one who actually spotted that post.. really!!!

Grade school.

Actually grades 2 through 5.

Pappilion, Nebraska.

Corn fields. Football teams, baseball. Mike and Steve Espland (two friends I have never heard from and can not find).

Care free. Stingray three speed bike, with the huge sissy bar, bananna seat, lime green. Dirt clod fights. Snow, sleds that you couldn't stop. Blizzards. Tornados. Fire works, before laws restricting them.

Trees to climb. Creeks to play in (lost my two front teeth when Mike threw a rock at the creek and missed). Tad poles, and minnows. Town junk yard with no fence around it.

No worries as far as child molesters. Be home at dark. Long summer days. Swing sets, sliding boards. Ringing door bells and running away.

Playing doctor with the girl next door.

Kick ball at recess. Metal lunch boxes that smelled of a hundred lunches. School lunch milk.

Civic pride, cub scouts, the American flag, pride of our country.

I hope that when I die I go back. Heaven has to be like this.

Heavy sigh.

hmmm...interesting question.

I don't think I have a 'time' yet.

My teens- incorrigible teen sent away to private, all girls Catholic High School...though, we were allowed to date..so my wildness didn't end when I got there like my parents thought! ;)

My twenties- terrible, terrible mistakes...Got pregnant wayyyyy too early, married too young, didn't follow my parents advice...the list of my mistakes is never ending.

I'm close to thirty and I think I have it all figured out now...I think.

So, my time has yet to come...I hope! Someone please tell me it gets better than this. :(

#1 with me would be my years growing up on the farm in Oregon, from about 1958 to 1966, then after that my years as a kid from 1967 to 1972 or so which were spent mostly in a small city of Oregon, although the latter part of that was a mixed bag (I drank way too much).
