:clutched scrap of paper:

i'll move when i can.
not now.

april
will have snow

I love finding other people's shopping lists they've left forgotten in the bottom of a shopping cart.

another reason i carry hand sanitizer: i do tend to pick up scraps of paper with writing on them. also, envelopes. i don't know why. there's rarely anything interesting to be found.

there is a dirk gently in most of us.
it's why i hate-finished the books.

"ignore them, you know?
right?"

...six seconds
chilled silence...

shame
as he grew dense

I also collect found notes, and generate many scraps of my own. Every so often I get curious if the William Burroughs thing would work with those disparate sources. Most often: no, not at all.

there are scraps of paper all over the place...

lit's littered with them, too.

phrases; scraps of phrases...
stuck mostly in barely read threads.

perhaps they're better off dead,
but you see them all the time.

they're the found object - the nearly ready made.
just add a dash of enhanced intuition
or outright fabrication...

i try
best as i can
not to pick up random jizz scraps

So what happened with the rhinoceros and the half-cat?

apparently, they're inextricably stuck
in a coffin corner
that isn't

at any point
on my desk
is a wealth of nearly/mostly forgotten wisdom

some of it is actually mine of right mind.
some?

the three word wtf(s) on envelopes or post its or...
that...
meant something sometime to somebody
(that is my scrawl, hmmmm?)

"...M -> 18 7-9(overwritten by)10... ***!..." on a gas bill from october that purposefully was not filed?

wtf???

yesterday:
found, trampled in a parking lot...

a hello kitty bookmark (in plastic) with this post it stapled to it
" Marta luv'd it... sister Helena has the st..."
paper's ripped there...

it's a nothing, right?

started as a metaphor
and an exercise
and a philosophical musing
all within two glasses of rum.

still, i see all kinds of scraps of paper
metaphorically...
and the stories they suggest
are fascinating.

i think most people ignore such things as noise?
