The statist Lit lovers of "democracy" have gotta love this...

...and no doubt their collective political leaders are already hard at work on creating legislation that'll show their herd the USSA can do even better than socialist - democratic - Europe to make all things in their lemming lives even "fairer".

Swiss Voters Set Limits on CEO Paychecks: SF1 Projections

Swiss voters are set to approve some of the world’s toughest limits on executives’ pay in a referendum, a move critics say could make Switzerland less attractive to multinational corporations.

The initiative against “fat cats,” proposed by Thomas Minder, head of a herbal toothpaste company, was backed by 68 percent of the voters today, projections from Swiss television SF1 showed as of 2:30 p.m. The projections have a margin of error of 2 percentage points, SF1 said. Polls, including one by gfs.bern, had signaled that outcome as probable.

The proposal gives shareholders an annual ballot on managers’ pay. It eliminates sign-on bonuses, as well as severance packages and extra incentives for completing mergers. The initiative also includes rules punishing executives who violate the terms with as long as three years in jail.

All government, by itself, is benign...

...any government, of whatever nation, can only be politically defined according to what the People of the nation allow it to be.

the People, in turn, simply reflect the collective political input of individuals.

If an individual rises up to dictate, eg, it is the actions or inactions of other individuals which actually dictates her/his ascendency or fall...

...and so it goes.

68% of the Swiss people evidently now believe that their government should totally rule the affairs of all companies doing business in their country, with the penalties of imprisonment and fines forcefully applied against any individual who dares defy the dictate(s) of the collective...

...in fact, there is no such reality as "private business" in Switzerland anymore, for the collective, fascist nature of the Swiss people has again democratically spoken against such a bedrock of individual liberty.

Democracy is the road to socialsim...

...socialism is the path to communism.

Fascism is simply another signpost along the way...

...telling a People how much nearer they are to the destination ahead.

I think my favorite part of this is how you didn't even finish reading your own quoted material before going off the deep end.

At least I offered you a "favorite part" to partake of...

...if you didn't suck so much, you'd naturally offer me the same courtesy.

The EU's proposals mentioned in the link have been criticised by Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, as an own goal that will drive financial trades away from Europe to New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.

Although bankers' excessive remuneration is unpopular, driving profitable tax-paying businesses out of Europe is madness.

The UK will block the EU proposals as much as possible, but it also fuels the antagonism to EU institutions in the UK.
