Well I am actually hurt that people have responded this way if thats what you mean. After all if you read over the thread you could be more shocked at the way in which I was attacked.

And to be honest, yes it does hurt. No matter what people say words do hurt.

Reread what I said, I said that offense is taken from the intent behind the words. What you said might not have seemed hurtful to you at all but you saw that you got a reaction from people and you kept going with it. That strikes of ignorance in its own right does it not?

I have read what regularly comes out of people's mouths, I tend to do that on forums. If you were so bothered by what Tek said, why follow him around and badger and provoke him? More importantly why follow him to someone else's thread?

I haven't looked through everything Tek has said to you but I know he has a pretty dry sense of humor sometimes, if that offends you then say so and leave it be. This is a forum where you have the power to talk to someone, or to ignore them and yet you chose not to ignore them. Your hurt is your own fault.

I wouldn't quite agree.

What you don't realize is that Tek spent days, weeks, actually lurking me and trying to really 'troll' me. He would send me in quick-fire way 3 or 4 Pms at a time. And when I stopped talking to him, he'd keep going. At the same time, he and his buddy Corbal behind the scenes were gloating at how they were trolling me.

This is cruel behavior. However I never ignored him and I attempted to befriend him and have a serious discussion. Every time I offered a kind word to him, I even told him I thought he was smart, he would shoot back some horrible insult at me. And he never let up for an instant. Eventually he went off and started a thread about helping the Japan cause, but he gained the wrath of Lit members for something he said on that thread. He was obviously hurt and thought it was my fault, so he then refused to talk to me. I came on this forum hoping to liven it up.

So yes look at the intent of what they say. They honestly would wish me dead, and thats no joke. If you can find that intent in anything I've said I'd be surprised. I don't wish hurt to anybody actually. And I'd love to talk about something other than religion to the members here but they won't give me the time of day.

So to those who speak rudely to me I tend to be feisty back. To those who have engaged with me I have engaged back.

Yes I challenge you... can you see what the intent behind my words is? Is it anything like the others? Are they justified in treating me like this? Is anyone justified in treating a person like this?

I'm curious then, since you don't believe in an eye for an eye, why you came to this forum hoping to liven it up? If he had stopped talking to you then why didn't you call it a win and go about the rest of your life here on Lit? I find it hard to believe that you can't put that behind you considering you seem perfectly capable of coming up with level-headed arguments otherwise.
