This Site Need More Mediaeval Stories

It's even more rare without the fantasy elements. the-eighth-god-ch-01 is unfinished but fits the category ig. Multiple heirs fighting for the crown after the king fell ill
Like I mentioned upthread, my "Life and Death of the She-Wolf" is essentially non-fantasy, disregarding the fact that the POV character is a ghost. The story is about when she was alive, and that's all without elves and trolls.

I do like elves and trolls though lol. It's an irresistible urge to add fantasy aspect and non human creatures while writing something medieval. And your story sounds interesting as well

Btw I've an idea for a story. It's about a guy getting assigned as a squire to a female Knight. Non -fantasy concept with only human characters. The story is basically about his journey & adventures

Actually a good idea. As a European I have a fair idea what live might have been like in medieval times. The American equivalent would then be the Wild-West?
A few centuries later, would the wild west be. Medieval times predate settled American history. Whatever was happening here before it was "discovered", only the native americans could possibly know.

I've had some story ideas for Wild West stories but unfortunately they've never made it past idea/bullit points.

But yes to the OP some 12th to 16th century European centric ideas would be amazing 👏
Yeah, I had one after watching Rango for the first time, last year. It's fate is the same as yours, but also forgotten, until now.

Ive always had the idea for a woman living out west who dresses like a man, tries to be one, is tough and rough, meeting a soft, new to the area, feminine and modest woman fresh from the east coast.
Do it. I think there's a famous cowgirl that did that, the disguised as a man part.
