To renew my C.N.A. License I have to earn a certain number of Continuing Education Credits per year. My work place has education resources for the C.E.U.'s of it's staff members but they seem to make a difference between the rankings of their Nurses.

Because of this I have found out that the Education Department is not recognising many of my C.E.U.'s.

They don't recognise the classes I have taken outside of the facility even though they have been taken through accredited schools.

They don't recognise the classes I have taken and passed that were earmarked for the L.P.N.'s or R.N.'s.

What this means is that the hospital is not recognising some 35 C.E.U.'s out of 45.

Thankfully I not only keep track of my C.E.U.'s but I have them tracked through an online clearing house for the State Registry of Nursing.

It will be interesting to see the faces of some people in work when I receive my new License in spite of their roadblocks.

That's the price you pay for doing your job well and making the slackers look bad. Good on you, cat. :D

There's entirely too many of these half-baked doctors and nurses who think they're Christ Almighty.
