Is this forum a "closed" club, or does it welcome everyone and encourage new poets?
I have my own thoughts on this and will share them later, but for now I would like to hear what everyone else thinks. - Feel free to hijack this thread as long you stay generally relevant to what you think about poetry on Literotica.

Since then I have received a number of messages, exchanged several PMs, and noticed a few postings in various threads that all appear to touch on the same subject. That being that this forum is seen by some as being monopolized by a few who discourage newcomers from participating by practicing favoritism among themselves, promising assistance and then not delivering, and generally denigrating the efforts of new posters and making them feel unwelcome and outsiders.Rybka said:
I often feel guilty when I find no works by new poets that I consider worthy of mentioning. Believe it or not, the regular contributors to this site are not shown favoritism by me (nor by other reviewers I am sure). In reality I hold them to a higher standard than the new or infrequent posters.
