I'm avoiding the politics board like the plague right now, and I have been for the past week or so. I have no plan to go there any time soon, either- Despite the fact that the candidate I voted AGAINST did not win the election; I don't want to gloat, rather I just don't want to talk about it anymore.

It's a cold dreary day. The 49er's lost, BYU won- auto racing's almost over and at this rate fruckin' Keslowski will probably win that, too- and goddammit, when will 2020 be over?

Was I all wound up and emotional during the election? If you can provide proof of that contention, then please do so. I am no more up or down today than I was last week. It might have some great impact upon your frame of mind, but it really doesn't matter to me. I thought the Federal government was dysfunction long before Obama, during Obama, under Trump, and expect it to remain an inefficient cluster-fuck under Biden also; his gaffes will just be more "amusing" now...

I do always have to shake my head when posters here simply cannot divorce politics from their every interaction on the board. I wish them the best of mental health going forward now that they have a figurehead that they can be in love with. I would like to think that it will serve to moderate their tone and manner(s), but early indications are that they are in the crack phase of their political addiction...

You can bet that there will be half-a-dozen of the highly dedicated who will have gotten prettier/more handsome, wealthier, wiser and finally gotten over that oder which permeated all of their daily dealings. A lot of them have been miserable, despondent and angry ever since the loss of the Obama White House. Now its back where it "rightfully" belongs and they can focus their hate upon anyone who now begs to differ from policies and actions.

In short, they were angry before, they're angry today (I mean, Trump is still there until January; not-merry Christmas and no one is going to try and incarcerate them, these people really believe in revenge.) and they will most certainly find a reason to be angry going into the future because, ~~gasp~~ Republicans are not going to respect the outcome of the election and act in opposition to everything our freely elected President does. Bunch of fucking partisans who need to shut the fuck up!



When they did it, it was Patriotism. If the other team does it now, it's sedition.
