I have been stunned, plainly surprised, impressed, etc., at how well received "Perdita" has been. I am not Perdita, and a few of you know my real name, but she is regarded at a level of reality unknown to my closest friends in the real world. This amazes me. It's not exactly disturbing, but it often makes me very thoughtful.

Besides Perdita I've become other special personae: Pear, Purr, Perdy, Purrditta, Darling, Dita, Trova.

On the name thread I mentioned my two real names, and how special names are to me among family, friends and lovers. Now I have several more. That's great.
