Congratulations and many happy years!

I second that. You two are two of the world's most deserving, loving, caring and compassionate people and deserve all happiness that flutters your way.

Congratulations, you two! :rose:

now, if I could just get MY visa.....

Moi aussi. England's gain is America's loss (if I read all this correctly). Be happy, lovelies.

Indeed you do.
I will be swooping back to UK in the next couple of weeks, taking my adored and wonderful gosling with me. With her special visa granted, this will allow her to live in UK, and for us to get 'married'. (Civil partnership for same sex couples.).

To say we are relieved and delighted is putting it mildly. This is what we've been waiting for in all this horrendous heat. Now we just put the finishing touches to our arrangements, and wing it.

Thank you all for your kind words and congratulations.

(I want to know how long it will be before she stops grinning, and singing softly, "I got a visa, I got a visa, I got a visa." :D :D )

It,and she are fucking adorable.

I love you both.....can I come visit

'tis open house for our litster family. Bearing in mind we only have one spare bedroom....but a very large garden. Maybe we'll have to invest in a large tent.

:D

Min, pack a few umbrellas, or preen your feathers really well :D

Congrats ladies, I'm so happy for the both of you!!

Thank you all, once again, for your kind words.

It's still sinking in, I think.
I guess it will finally become real once I book the plane tickets, and we finish sorting the house.

But for now, a few days off to relax and unwind.

My best to you both: may you find everything you wish for yourselves.

September 2. Or 2 September, over there. ;)

Unfortunately, you can't marry wherever you want over there the way you can here. The ceremony will be at the local registrars office in their "wedding room". The reception will be at home in our garden, though. :)

All we have to do when we get back is get the house in order (the second bedroom is still a warehouse), get the garden in some sort of order, buy a pergola/gazebo for shade/rain cover, scrounge enough garden chairs from friends, arrange the food, drink, crockery, cutlery, glassware, coffee/tea mugs/cups........oh, and write the service.

:) :) :)
