Then I decided best of three (pathetic ain't it)

One more time for the best of five.

By now I was hooked, so I took a pack of cards and decided if the card I drew was lower than the Jack (with the Ace high) I would go.

I drew a Queen.

That was it I'd tried not to go but luck or God or The Twilight Zone wouldn't hear of it.

So I got myself ready went out in the rain and was about half an hour into my journey when my mobile rang.

The other party couldn't make it and wanted to re-schedule.

I think he just stuck with his coin tossing longer than I did....
